if it beeps every 3 seconds then it wouldve beeped when it was under the table. then it wasn't ok. and it doesn't break easily, it means it's not ok. homer doesn't think very smart. sometimes he does. for example he learned how to get 3 things on one side of the river to the other without something eating the other. for a better understanding look up wolf sheep cabbage on google or youtube. but instead he used maggie, the dog, and poison. dog=maggie, maggie=poison. that means they can't eat it
He's got the right idea actually, but awful execution. I'm sure in real life there'd be better ways to achieve the same purpose than hearing a deafening squeal every 3 seconds of the day.
