first of all, my cat didn't actually ingest the broccoli. she was only chewing it up and playing with it. second, even if ingested, such a small amount will not hurt a cat.

i'm sorry about your cat, but i can almost guarantee you that the broccoli was not the cause... unless you fed him/her large amounts or as an alternative to cat food. cats are carnivores, but a small portion of vegetables won't hurt. the only thing i can think of would be onions. onions thin out the blood of both cats and dogs too much, so i know you are not supposed to feed it to them.

i love stir-frying broccoli with soy sauce, honey, garlic, and sesame seeds.. with a little bit of red pepper flakes. SO GOOD
