I also do not watch movies on television unless they are played on one of the advertising free stations. They expected any movie about taxi drivers would be like a Jerry lewis laugh riot!!!The soundtrack music is great due to the genius of Bernard Herrmann.Oh did I mention I was a taxi driver for 28 years? The taxi life as depicted in Taxi Driver is very realistic.
