  • oGsMC tried to do this cheese to HuK, and HuK countered it beautifully in the Orlando MLG finals for the win!

  • If it will happen to me I will know its the replay funs ))) Cooly ....

  • hhahahaa thats some good shit i won 22 games in a row doing this ^_^

  • @TheNepatsfan33 First what came in my mind to take all probse and kick him up on his main... But i will try this strategy as well )))

  • @MrrAlibabaevich he has more probs than u :)

  • Yes, it's a legit strategy. It's still cheese.

  • I did this in KoTH on this map and all retards were yelling cheeser but hey, I didn't lose one game at all.

This is a legit strategy but its easy to stop, you can build ur first pylon there and the guy is screwed.

  • Can't you just get 400 minerals and throw up a new nexus? He needs to put considerable resource into this.

  • @achan1058

Though he needs to spend ~600 minerals, you'll lose a huge amount of time warping in the nexus and won't be able to mine with the cannon at your base.

  • I was listening to this song when I started this video. Nice nice

  • protoss needs a nerf.

  • @kryptman40k Are you serious? LOL

  • @kryptman40k No it doesn't. This was freaking PvP. Terrans can just lift at the sight of a Cannon rush, and Zerg have creep that makes everything unbuildable. (And if the creep doesn't cover it, just use the Overlord to generate creep.) Its the Terrans that need the nerf. Banshees are freaking imba.

  • @H3nry7h3h3n Overlord can't generate creep without lair.

  • Save 400 minerals, build a nexus at nat, put a zealot into enemy mineral line, you'll equalize or win.

  • @Firesemi Lol. You don't really think that you do not put cannons in ur base as well while doing this strat.

  • ddoro is a cheeser in pvp mainly sadly.

  • the only real defense against this other than walling off his mineral line himself is luckily scouting it and building a cannon of his own in time. I suppose a counter attack might work too, which I've seen be successful before.

  • @BTape or you could just build a pylon in that area to stop it....

  • @Mikoden Yup. Sorry, that's what I meant by "walling off his own mineral line." I guess it's really more of the back area. You would still have to block off the entire thing though unless I'm missing something, as otherwise you'd just be making a partial wall that makes their job easier.

  • @Mikoden that would only make his job easier moron

  • @notToast depends where you put the pylons, i bet there would be placements that would make it hard/impossible to do. you'd at least get the cannon far enough away to stop it hitting the nexus.

  • @BTape right where the cannon rushing player dropped 2 pylons, drop 1 of your own, in between them (must do it before he drops his pylons, obviosly). just do that every game and you're impervious to this cheese.

THE REAL CONCERN is zerg who can't possibly stop this, they have no buildings they can just throw anywhere like terran and protoss

  • @joefond reply to my earlier comment: nevermind, you cant do it against zerg due to not being able to build on creep. DOH

  • @joefond True. Also not unbeatable obviously, but people don't currently play in such a way to protect against this cheese. As far as I know it works only on this map anyway.

You can patrol a probe in that area if you see a forge or the probe came in suspiciously / sits around there. A good player will queue up the spot and the 3 pylons so it isn't suspicious, though. Pylon block the closest square a cannon can go to protect the nexus from fire. This may even block the probe from making cannons.

  • @joefond You're an absolutely moron, creep covers that area.

  • ROOTdoro is not a professional player. He's terrible.

  • With this kind of stuff SC2 will never be successful as an e-sport.

  • @penguinbelly Except it already is.

  • @penguinbelly I've seen the same kind of thing in sc1 and I would consider that game pretty successful.

  • hahahaha very nice

  • This is something that should probably be fixed, It looks too easy to execute.

  • I didn't know SC2 ran on the SNES

  • Wow. That's fucking epic.

  • freaking ridiculous,ROOT should be ashamed.

  • is it me or is canon rushing getting out of control?
