downforce FAIL! where got ppl design downforce got such a big gap between bumper and downforce plate.. =.=" the wind resistance would be higher.. cause air is being caught in between causes more drag to your already slow car..

I see there's a gap between the plate & the original bumper. For downforce to happen, that gap need to be complete sealed. Air escaping through that gap goes at a much higher velocity (due to the gap is much smaller compared to the gap between the ground & that metal plate) than the air flowing below...thus creating a negative downforce on that metal plate.
