I love this song, so much. It may be about the U.S. armed forces, which I have enormous respect for, but I still listened to this song several times before I did my assessment day for the Australian Army (possibly why I was so confident and aced the interview haha). Both our nations are as close as any could be diplomatically and militarily, and as such I feel it is perfectly natural to apply the message of this great song not only to the U.S. military but to the Australian Defence Force also.
