Beautiful song, sad lyrics, but bitter-sweet as its Bananarama. So so well sung, harmonised & produced. Easily 1 of Bananarama's BEST ever songs. Under-rated & under- promoted!! Its haunting, there's no vocoder, no autotune just a great pop record. I LOVE Bananarama & all 3 are beautiful in this video! Great band & Keren & Sara still enjoying Bananarama & performing! ;)
i like this version is better than the one that they did with stock aitken waterman . It is a very dark song with a message to it . It is bananarama best songs they have ever did.
Agree, this is way better than the SAW version....although I don't dislike all SAW stuff. In Bananarama's case however, although they acheived greater record sales as a result of their move towards SAW, I was never as keen on it.......neither was Siobhan evidentally; resulting in her departure from the group in early '88, this being one strong reason.
Top of the tops - I don't think Bananarama will ever be appreciated as they should. Soooo progressive, perfect straight vocals and harmonies, wonderful songs. I so love this!
my favourite bananaram song !

This track ALWAYS sends shiver sup my spine.
One of THE best things they ever did. Wish they stuck like this instead of making pop trash on WOW!

This song was heard on the radio of a taxicab in "Jumpin' Jack Flash" with Whoopi Goldberg.
