  • i hope all you canadiens/americans know how lucky you are to live where you do in canada and america. Here in the UK you get laughed at for playing hockey, its probably the most un common sport to play :( everyone loves football(soccer) here which is a SHIT sport

  • I wet down the concrete patio enough to get a thin glaze of ice started, from there I would use the hose and layer the water. The thicker the ice became, the thicker you could apply the water. It took about 24 hours and 5 application of water to a total of 2 inches. The trick was getting the top layer smooth so you skated on it easily, flood the water so it self levels, dont spray it or brush it. My kids will never forget doing such a crazy thing, in Seattle.... it is considered crazy.
