I just don't understand why their human remains have not been found still? It is going on 2 years later and you would think their human remains were found by now. I know the ocean is huge, but 2 years should be enough to find their remains. I know the coast guards no longer are looking for them, still you would think they would at least look for their remains....Has anybody heard if Cooper and Smith and Bleakley's remains have been recovered yet that would confirm they are indeed dead?

@Johnnewb Yeah, that's a possibility that happened and I hope it never did. Still, you never know...Their bodies may have drifted onto a island no one heard of and they are just having tuns of trouble finding a way to call for help, I highly dought it though. But again, until their remains are found I will not stop hoping for a miracle that they'll be found alive and brought back home to their family. You just never ever know.

@17NJDevilsfan What exactly do U think would be found? Rigor and livor mortis set in 2 years ago, they are nothing but skeletal and was very very rapidly once they died. The combination of the water,gasses the body releases post mortem would have sped up decomposition fairly quickly. Also, U have to keep in mind the predatory fish out there too who can detect the scent of decompostion many miles away. Whatever skelethal remains exist Im sure are at the bottom.

I hope they don't and if their remains are never found in another few more years than I will be more than 100% convinced a whale or shark ate their remains and it will make the wound a million times more worse for their families because they need to have final closure about them one way or the other and they should.

What is also beyond me is why the cost guards never had their night vision goggles on when looking for them that night, if they had them on, than Cooper, Smith and Bleakley would have been found alive with Nick. Their death's could have been prevented.

Saw the survivor, Nick on Oprah, I am skepticable of his story, I think that he might not be telling the truth about what really happen and he still has not person had any personal contact with th deceased men families by making excuses for the reason why and has no immediate plans to do so in the future, but is profiting from a book deal on the story at this time.

This is probably one of the most horrible stories of the year. And I wish those 3 guys couldve been found also.

But real talk, you guys gotta know the whole story. 2 of them did swim off to go get help.

I always do a thorough research b4 commenting b/c I'd only comment on articles that leave an impact or was unjustly. Schuyler stated that he seen 2 friends float away & one swam off to get help. These men were all physically fit. The way how I see it, one man wanted to hang on to the boat til' the very end. It was just luck he was able to be rescued before the inevitable was gonna happen. You gotta believe these guys did all they could before they let fate take it's course. It was a horrible way to see 2 promising lives end, but it was a risk and they knew the consequences.

You got 3 healthy football players & 1 ex player..but the ex player survives, not only that other than a few cuts & bruising they said he climbed up to safety himself? the nfl players are probably underwater rite now becuase if they cant find them searching 16,000 square miles. then theyre dead underwater and its been 5 days since theyve been missing and the guy who was found was close to dying too. they had no water or no food. so... Its coopers and smiths fault Nick shayucer said cooper and Smith gave up of a rescue and let go of the boat and drifted away to the sea and bleakly saw a light saw to is was not seen again and a helicopter flew over the boat 2 or 3 hours after the boat flipped but did not see the 4 huddled together to not suffer hypothermia and thought the boat was missing bleakly had enough energey to get life jackets and food in the boat but if they are alive hopefully they are they would be floating on water

These men are atleast 250 lbs. each. Ain't no way they could've held onto the boat that long. Having to see the sun come up and come down not only once but maybe twice. No sleep, holding on for their lives, and nobody could hear their cries for help. We could only imagine what their bodies were going through and what their minds were telling them. They lost faith of being rescued and who could blame them. I just hope they made it somehow. Only the survivor knows where they are.

You'd think every boat would have a tracking device to pull to notify the coast guard if something goes wrong. We should've had 4 survivors instead of 1. For now on boaters should have mandatory tracking devices to avoid incidents like this. This whole thing sucks to hear and even worse to imagine. that is the saddest story. i didn't know anything about nfl guys but just picturing what went down in my head it just seems so scary. looks like it was meant to be that one person lives and others never made it back. who knew when they all boarded that boat on saturday that it would be a one way trip for most of them...so sad
