  • Absolutely loved his performance. Good clip as well :)

  • The personification of pure Evil.

  • what makes him such an scary villain is that he is violent on the inside, but can hide it so well with his politeness and manners.

  • da name of da song?

  • he's got that awesome acting ability that's so realistic.

Often, these monsters in history weren't all big and bad and serious all the time as they're often portrayed.

They had this jeer, this smiley persona, doubled with this dangerous edge at the same time.. which made them all the more malicious and haunting to be around.

    Christoph = talent

  • What a performance. Proves you need not put on a phoney american accent to do well in movies. Well done, Waltz.

  • too cute for playing a nazi.

  • Well done vid, could be on a DVD.

  • thumbs up if the title brought you here

  • Plus eleventy billion, sir. This video is quite awesome.

  • @brotherdurfskie

    "Inglourious Basterds"

  • what's the name of this SFTD remix?

  • Lol I just realized BJ Kovak was in this movie...

  • Christoph Waltz was the only saving grace of this movie.

  • @majesticmaniac entitled to say what u think but i loved alot more than just him but he was the best thing about it. I take it u thought everything else was terrible

  • @nikfirehazard u want my honest opinion, the rest was all pure propaganda bull shit.

  • I love Hans Landa ! <3

  • An inspiration to us all.

  • Genius video with the song background (my how I love the Rolling Stones). I knew that CW won the academy award but didn't realize until this video how charasmatic and consuming his portrayal was. A little late to the party, but I'm renting this movie thanks to this video.

  • u used awesome music from lord of the rings

  • awesome video! really well done and captures his character well! bravo!

  • Who made this version of this song?

  • Best villain ever. That one scene were he meets the girl in the cafe is pure amazing acting. You don't know if he knows or her or doesn't... When he asks for the cream is simply breathtaking...

  • @TheWarmplate Landa earlier had let Shosanna escape, was he letting her escape again?

  • this film is a travesty...

  • he has TROLL FACE LOLOL

  • This is one of the best Inglourious Basterd fan videos I've ever seen. You nailed it! Bravo!

  • We need more people like him!!! You mean people like Chritoph Walz? No, Jew hunters...:P

  • What is the name of the song from 0:22 further ?

  • @wladence rolling stones

  • @wladence Sympathy For The Devil by The Rolling Stones

  • Damn Good Detective? I don't think so; He's no Adrian Monk(Thank God for that!). But, when he solves a whole homicide case(maybe more) just because of an infinitesimal detail that no one else could have pointed out then I shall stand corrected.

I wanna see this movie, though.

  • @FlyFree4evr it's because there are no detectives like adrian monk...

that's like me saying "thank god he is not sherlock holmes" which makes no sense at all...

  • they cut scene 00:28 - 00:33 out of the DVD but kept it in the theatre, i dont know about you guys but i think they should have left it.

  • This is a damn good video. Good work man.

  • Wait for la creme!

  • this nigga gangsta :o

  • His rat/squirrel analogy was spot on.

  • He is sooooooo hot. even hotter than Hans Gruber in Die hard:D:D

  • great edit!!

  • amazing clip!

  • What a performance!

  • The song is "Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil"

  • wow good work!!

  • great clip!

  • " Au revoir, Shosanna! "

  • I can't find this song.. this version I mean. Can anyone link it please?

  • @marcedouin v=Wt9BeOAR2Cs

  • Of course they ruin this clip with some total kike music, some jew singing about all of the things Jews have had a hand in.

  • One of the best movie villain portrayals EVER. I was utterly TERRIFIED of him while seeing the film.

  • @MoonWild128 You where terrified??? I thought he was hilariously good.

  • did you edit this yourself?

  • Christoph Waltz first word: BINGO!

  • Why did you call the actor a jew hunter? Standartenführer Hans Landa is!

  • Why would you want to strangle that hot of a chick?!

  • @Transformers2themax

    Cuz she helped Jews.

    And he's a Jew Hunter.

  • those eighten ppl who disliked must've been found by the detective...

  • I loved this character from the moment the movie started, something about a charming, well mannered evil person with a face that fits the character perfect. Love this movie!

  • What is the songname??

  • @Kontoren Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones

  • @Kontoren but the song you find will song you find will sound different than this one

  • @mothershipish1 It is Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones but it's the Neptunes remix.

  • @MissH221 oh ya i knew that it was Sympathy for the Devil but i guess i forgot to type that in my comment. but i didnt know about the Neptunes remix part

  • Comment removed

  • I bet he will be the next Bond villain

  • What a good video!!

  • Beautiful,I love it!

  • richtofen from nazi zombies?

  • i dont like brad pitts char, hes a asshole

  • Perfect editing, just perfect.

  • Well, he isn't quite a villian, i'm a jew and i (reall) like his character, it seems kinda like they force him to do what he does, and he preternds it doesn't bothers him, after all, he helped with operation kino, sort of..

  • @the2009guy he didnt help with operation kino because he liked the americans, he did it because he knew hitler was going to lose the war, so he joined the americans to save his ass.

  • @yonisdiriye123 It doesn't why he helped, he seemed (to me) he didn't wanna kill jews and be a part in this war, also it seemed most of the german soldiers didn't want to be a part of this war and Hitler forced them. he only acted like his job during the war doesn't bothers him. that's, at least, what i think.

  • @yonisdiriye123 Pretty sure you're right. Landa has no loyalties and no morals. He's only out for himself.

  • @evilemperordude You're kidding...right? Go watch some interviews of him on different shows. He is fluent in 3 languages and is extremely intelligent. He also seems very genuine and kind. I just can't tell if you are trolling or not.

  • @evilemperordude wait! you were talking about his character I see now. disregard my previous comment.

  • AUSTRIA IS IN EUROPE AND AUSTRALIA IS IN AUSTRALIA lol greetings from AUSTRIA IN EUROPE !

  • when he lost out to twilight for best villain I officially stopped caring about awards.

  • @killerrey

    oh.

    my.

    god.

    same now.

  • @killerrey what awful award show was that?

  • @killerrey that's okay; an Oscar trumps all those other silly award shows!

  • @killerrey wtf he did? how stupid and tasteless is the common public?

  • @killerrey BINGO! You just became my hero.

  • @killerrey He didn't lose to Twilight, he lost to Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. Still, a shame no doubt but MTV awards are bullshit anyway. Christoph Waltz was flawless in this film. Landa was just the perfect asshole. I hate this guy's guts. When a villain is such an ass that you love to hate him, that shows how awesome the character is.

  • @killerrey he did?! wtf? i don't watch award shows, so... HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? D:

  • @killerrey Yeah but that was the MTV movie awards...and nothing good ever comes out of watching the MTV movie awards.

  • @killerrey If you are taqlking about the MTV Movie Awards those are based on the votes of the audience. And since most of the audience of MTV are adolescent girls, then it's hard for a masterpiece to win. Girls don't understand this type of movies. But never compare MTV with the GOlden Globes or Oscars.

  • @killerrey did that REALLY happen? what award was this?

  • MY GOD!!!! HE is the reason why i wish this film would NEVEREVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EEEEEND!!!! please make him a statue in 2000 m-scale so the ETs just see and know that WE have CHRISTOPH WALTZ before trying to attack us!!one of the few really great actors of our time!

  • What is this version of Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil called, and where can i get it please?

  • @0000kris0000 It's N.E.R.D. remix

  • You MADE this clip?? Wow, you are one amazing editer. :)

  • ahah this is great xD yes the movie allows to think that he's actually the main character. it fits. kudos

  • this is like the coolest video i have ever seen on youtube i gotta say good work

  • Great video. I just realized something. at 0:28, Waltz is doing an almost spot on Sean Connery - James Bond pose after lighting is cigarette. Not sure if its intentional or not. Landa. Hans Landa.

  • Loooooooove those convination of classics of rock, with great movie scenes... The Most memorable is Layla in "Goodfellas"...

  • 17 people must be jews xD

  • music in the background really suits him :D its sympathy of the devil

  • Nice use of fade in/outs and great syncing. The voice track could have used a few decibels because of their whispering in my opinion . Not trying to be an asshole, just trying to offer something useful to you amidst this horrid, flaming mess. 5/5 hypothetical stars overall for you though.

  • Can somebody please tell me what exact version of "sympathy for the devil" is used in this video ?!

It's not the original song and, as far as I see it, it's not (like some people said) the "just dance 2" version....

So... any ideas ?! @or2512 can you tell me the exact song pls?

  • Nothing better than hunting "juden"

  • Lord of the Rings soundtrack for the win :D

  • I wish this guy existed.

  • The Jew Hunter and The Joker........haha very different. My two favorite villains ever though(: They both have all the characteristics of a fantastic villain...............@phemyda94 I agree (:

  • It's absurd that the Oscar bait nonsense known as "The Hurt Locker" beat Inglorious Basterds for best director and best original screen play. Quentin's dialogue and direction is just so sharp, witty, and on point, I can't fathom how the Academy voted for that bullshit over this masterpiece. They really must have a grudge against talented directors *cough* Kubrick *cough* Hitchcock *cough* Ridley Scott *cough* Sidney Lumet *cough* Nolan *cough*

  • It's completely ridiculous that the Oscar bait nonsense known as "The Hurt Locker" beat Inglorious Basterds for best director and best original screen play. Quentin's dialogue and direction is just so sharp, witty, and on point, I can't fathom how the Academy voted for the bullshit over this masterpiece. They really must have a grudge against talented directors *cough* Kubrick *cough* Hitchcock *cough* Ridley Scott *cough* Sidney Lumet *cough* Nolan *cough*

  • i love it!!! christoph, i love you! you wanna marry me? :)

  • 14 people are stupid motherfuckers !

wonderful great video *-* thank you for this! <3

    christoph you're end-sexy ;)

  • name of the song?

  • What;s the name of the song?

  • 14 ppl must be jews

  • @MysteryLogic And you are a dick

  • @SANDU3108 what's that mean?

  • amazing actor he's worth the Oscar

  • he deserved every award he got for that role

  • 14 people got laughed at by Christopher waltz when they broke their leg mountain climbing.

  • still cant belive why didnt he got the oscar

  • @cuscardo But he DID win the oscar :)

  • nice compliation. good job.

  • "It's that the way you say it, that's a bingo?" Love he's sweet face! Basterd!

  • @Beehappymovie yes at most his sweet lips *-* i wanna kiss them ^^

  • @Beehappymovie

actually that part and the part before is.

i can't do that ever in life without thinking of Mr. Hans Landa.

  • Yeah, he really sold that role. Creepy bastard. Turns out all he really wanted was a slice of the American way of life. Who knew?

  • YHHHHHHH kill them jews!!

  • ENTJ

  • amazing video !

  • Whats that song in the backround?

  • @ichbinirgendwer Sympathy for the devil by the Rolling Stones

  • Christoph Waltz is a damn good actor!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • great editing bro! keep up the good work

  • an awesome tribute to the best character tarantino has written

  • freeze at 0:06 that won him the oscar.....

  • @arkbishopbonkerboy asshole

  • @wolverine7logan okay explain the "asshole" or you'll end up being the asshole

  • i base all of my villain acting on the persona Christoph Waltz puts on hans landa and Chadnofsky in The Green Hornet. This video is excellent, and Christoph Waltz is a boss.

  • Brad pitt is so american every film hes in - only in them for the lady audience.

  • This should be a trailer for a movie just about hans landa!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's a Bingo!

  • Hans Landa,,,awesome character

  • dschu hunta....

  • This is FANTASTIC. And I think I'm going to use it in a class presentation where I'm presenting an original play I want to put on Broadway with him as one of the main actors. So thank you for this! I will absolutely credit you! :)

  • Charming, creepy, delightful, despicable, ridiculous, terrifying... THAT, my friends, is what makes a great villain!

  • @phemyda94 I think you could intimidating, inteligent and confident to that list. My favourite movie character!

  • @phemyda94

    a classic Tarantino villain.

  • One of my favorite movies, favorite characters, favorite actors. Christoph is incredible, you can't help but love him!

  • When I first seen the movie, and I seen Hans Landa greeting Mr. Lapadite. I knew something was special about him. Very powerful presence, you could just see how bad ass he was. And I really like the fact, that the Nazi Ideology didn't mean anything to him. He was just being, as he said, a damn good detective. His uniform didn't mean anything to him.

  • @6Dia6blo6X He was a 'damn good detective' with the purpose of finding jews, not criminals. Think before you say something stupid. Yes his act was great, but what you just said is rather offensive. What made his play so good is that the nazi's were convinced, just like Hans Landa, that they were doing something normal. Thus, he looks at himself as a normal detective, because detective for him means hunting jews.

  • @6Dia6blo6X well i guess thats not right at all.. at the end of a movie he didn't wanted to take of his uniform, even when he betrayed hitler and the germans..

in the late show with letterman, waltz explains that the uniform shows landa was a nazi, even when he never really showed it himself

(i hope you understand my english, i'm catalan and we are dumbs in learning other languages)

  • lol i loved this video the music fit amazingly with waltz devilish charming and dangerous character in this nice movie and the movie flowed smoothly very nice thumbs up :)

  • JEW HUNTAAA

  • For a Nazi, hans lands is pretty badass

  • the way he says "jew hunter "at the end of the movie is funny as hell.

  • Comment removed

  • He is one bad ass in this movie lol :)

  • I read that Tarantino said Col Landa was the best character he ever wrote...Have to agree!

  • I take my hat off to you! This was very well cut with an interesting choice of music. I'm a fan of the actor and he's worth a good tribute, which you've provided.

  • Actually, the music does fit. The upbeat style goes well with his eccentric nature, not the mention, Hans Landa is considered to be a charming devil hence the song "Sympathy for the devil".

  • Landa + Simpathy for the Devil...= WIN

  • Yeahhhhh!

  • Waltz was the personification of evil as perpetrated by the Nazi. Insofar as Waltz was the charming and psychopathic Nazi, the SS man who politely slit your throat while whistling Dixie , I found him alarmingly repulsive and abhorrent. Psychopaths, generally, prosper during times of war.

  • awesome video

  • Sympathy for the Devil- The Rolling Stones (Just Dance 2 Remix)

  • Oooooooooo! That's a Bingo! . . . Is that the way you say it, "that's a Bingo" ?

  • THATS A BINGO!

  • Oh YAH

  • where is the version of the who song from?

  • Although he is a Nazi, you have to love him <3

  • 11 ppl seriously need to go somewhere else and dislike crappy videos. how could you dislike?? congrats sticker! heil hans landa <3

  • Now he's Austrian :))

  • Best character of the movie.

  • Greatly made vid!

  • i think Landa was based on real life Nazi Reinhard Heydrich(a SD man like Landa) also known as the The Blond Beast" by his enemies both Jewish and non Jewish...the Landa character even mentions Heydrich(in the jew hunter scene) when talking about Heydrich's other nick name :The Hangman"

  • he has a jew canoe too

  • waltz is just great - unlike many german actors

  • @Benjaminderfisch Waltz is Austrian

  • @Benjaminderfisch actually germany has a lot of good actors.
