thanks for your comments, guys. Rangiroa is indeed excellent for scuba diving, and the dolphin show happens every morning and evening in the Tiputa Pass. definitely very impressive. a must see. Tikehau is quieter, I believe we were only 6 tourists in the whole island. very cool. cheers
They should have electric cars there and absolutely no industry that can produce airborne pollutants.

The small airplane you see at 0:56 is the air moorea airplane that crashed between Moorea and Tahiti last summer ('07) killing 17 (?) people...RIP

sure.
timing: 16-17 days, end of November beginning of December.
costs: withouth the flight there, around 100 EUR per person per day, maybe a bit less. French Polynesia is indeed not cheap.

At 10:20 into the vid the playful dolphins were leaping out of the surf breaks. Simply amazing.
