@DharmaMidget You are a complete idiot. There is nothing even remotely ska about this song and to say otherwise is absolutely idiotic. Just because a song has horns, it doesn't make it ska and anyone who even loosely follows/listens to the genre could tell you that. Also, do you even have any idea what "NY Hardcore" is because if you did, you wouldn't be citing this song as reference or based in any influence of it. I can't believe how ignorant and uninformed your post is.

I usually hate these little misguided arguments about musical genres but your statement that this is in ANYWAY ska related is absolutely unobservant and quite preposterous. Explain what about the chords, changes, and beats that have made you completely misconstrue this song as ska in anyway. Do you understand how truly ignorant you really sound?

@DharmaMidget I hate to break it to you, but greatestxgift is right about this song not having any ska in it even if he/she didn't say it in the most tactful manner. I've been involved in the NYC Ska scene for almost 20 years in ska bands, producing ska records, and running a label that puts out mostly ska records so I think I have somewhat a clue what ska is. I think people like you make the mistake of thinking any song with punk undertones that has horns in it is ska, which isn't true at all.
