I bet, had the composer been Handel, the comments would have fared better. What's in a name... we tend to praise and look at the reputation of the author more than at his of her artistic product ;-) This is nice, solid music nevertheless.

"Rule Britania" was the only tune I knew by Arne until now.
Gosh! He sounds like a really great composer.
This piece somewhat reminds me of CPE Bach.
