  • This is the greatest. Love Love his music.

  • Lady Gaga, The jonas brothers and most artist today suck. This music is the real deal

  • it's not Miley or Justin' fault ... it's the people who listen to them. if they would disappear, someone else would take their places. they only sing what people these days like to listen to... we don't really need good music now, cause there are soooo many awesome songs that it would take a lifetime to listen to them all... i for one am happy enough living with the old music (tip: listen to 4U Classic Rock station)

  • for god sake, don't mention Miley and Justin in the same breath as Boz....

  • Boz is real talent, real music, real feeling.....never forget him....

  • Love driving with this music!!

  • those two are morons at their own right...???

  • Boz was smooth as Velvet...Dig all His work!

  • If you remember this from the Radio, give a thumbs up. I know that Boz has a few better songs but I had to hear this when I saw it.

  • Listen Radio Música para Mimos. The best songs of love (Search in Google)

  • Isso é música de verdade. It's true music. My God!

2 people don't know what it is.

  • Billboard's #89 song of '80. Boz hit #17 pop, and soul, #29 AC, in Billboard. God bless!

  • The coolest dude on the planet. No cookie cutter here. He and his band are amazing. That 2nd granddaugther is named Jordan. I call her JOJO because off this great song.

  • BOZ SCAGGS IS EFFIN AWESOME,,,,,

  • @gregdog550 Easily my favourite artist of the 70s / 80s! Never tire of his music! Still sounds awesome 30 years later. He made me want to become a songwriter.

  • just because music playing now is different does not make it any less real. i could say the lipsyncing here is shit, he ain't "cool" at all and all sorts of other shit.

and i wouldn't have said that, because the song is actually nice, but the top-rated comments just ruin it for me.

  • I wonder why they had it listed as being on the "Hits" album, when it was really on the "Middle Man" LP?

  • Now this was music!

  • Boz was the best looking guy around and he still is , just older!

  • @schveety5644 Fantastic cool song, but I gotta disagree...Boz is not good-looking!

  • Cool !!!!! ☆☆☆☆☆

  • Boz Scaggs wearing a white disco suit in the video it's hard to believe.

  • I loved this!! ThaNK YOU~!

  • Chrono Trigger - Secret of the Forest is obviously inspired by this.

  • he's sucha good singer and is sooo cute

  • this is my theme song (my nickname)! doing a cover of this this year. this song stil rocks!

  • between spring of 1980 and winter of 1981 Boz Scaggs was burning up the charts with top 20 hits like"Look What You've Done To Me" "Miss Sun' and JoJo...man! now this is when music was real......

  • @chrisporter61

    what're you casey kasem?

  • @lindemikko no,but I wanted his job when he retired..but they gave it to Ryan Seacrest

  • great Boz, sweet Boz, wish JoJo was the sweet babe in the video...!

  • too bad jojo isn't a foxy chick......my sister's name was jojo......great song in any case..... ;-)

  • @rjjstephan dogg... what tha funk??? you dunn got a thang for your sizter? WTF??? dam you!!!

  • @cheesybread77 i did, but she was killed in a motorcycle wreck in chicago ;=(((

  • jo jo sounds like a Pimp!(lol)

  • The song Jojo is actually from Boz Scaggs 1980 album The Middle Man.

  • Greatness pure musicality.

  • fa schifo

  • Is that Steve Porcaro (or David Paich) on the CS80 synthesizer?

  • luv the boz man.

  • Boz luvs him sum brown suga

  • Boz Scaggs is not just a cool cat, his sense of humor and body language is full of jun and original, He dosen't care HOW he looks, he just does, sings moves, no airs, just Boz, pure and simple, take him as he is, and ther ain't nothin' like him. these people are Havin' fun with him. just look at that talented voice and persona.

  • Now this is real talent!

  • I don't know but every time I hear this song I think of Atlanta

  • What up with the super mario 'stache Mike P? Where's Jeff?

  • @artdrtr2 Well... it WAS 1980.

  • @summerbr1....You are absolutely right. It's good fun and a kick-ass song. I am going to see Boz w/the Dukes of September next month and can't wait!

  • it's the stop before Georgy Porgy in the Toto's railways

  • When yesterdays music sounds better, is this a sign that we are getting older? Or is music from the 70s and 80s better? I must admit I like this music better though. What about movies targetting 16 - 39 year olds this may be why I like old movies. TV ratings may have decline because of to many commericials. I can watch YT and relive that past and almost commericial free just F5 those adds.

  • What music! What an artist! There will never be another like Boz.

  • all time favorite.............loves some boz scaggs

  • My mom played the hell out of Boz Scaggs when I was a kid...I hated it!!...And then I grew up! Now I play the hell out of it and my son gets to listen :)

  • SO TIRED OF HEARING PEOPLE SAY "REAL MUSIC" ON ANYTHING PRE-2000 YEA WE GET IT MUSIC THESE DAYS SUCKS OKAY WE KNOW i mean literally it's on EVERY youtube video of an old r&b song or ANY old song

  • This band funkitates.....BIG TIME....

  • Love the sax solo by Andrian Tapia !

  • Jeff Porcaro on drumms...yeah

  • This is Soul'n'Rock! Wonderful!

  • Great then love him now!

  • I went to see Boz at the Canyon Club 6/6/10. He didn't play this song. I was bummed. He sounded awesome in every way. He is a true talent.

  • Attention kids. This is a good example of music. See the band? They are playing REAL instruments. This isn't some flavor of the month, forgotten in a week crap. This is timeless music.

  • @sporty2000 Right On, sporty!

  • @sporty2000 I agree with you totally...

  • Lido and Jojo were but 2 characters out of the Bozman's world. What a guy!

  • Pop and Soul all the way.

  • today's music has know heart it just to make a fast buck and the youth today program them selves to like it then thy try to remake songs of the past just like movies they can't create anything so they make a fast buck ripping off other artist work and it turns out lousy

  • His recent work is AOK..he' still doing it...gr8...there's hope for all.....

  • THIS IS ONE BAAAAAADDDDD JAM!!!

  • Hit #17 pop and soul, #29 AC in Billboard. God bless!

  • listening to the music of yesteryear just confirms for me how crappy todays music really is

  • Scaggs is timeless.

I've seen him perform lately and he is on top of his game at the age of 65!

    Outstanding!

  • I was so born in the wrong era for music. Born in '79, should've been born about 15 years earlier. He is still sexy to watch. Love this song.

  • Music from the 70's and 80's by far the best in history....hands down. From R&B, hard rock, soft rock, funk, disco, jazz, etc. The music of those eras were the best. More different and creative sounds and artists actually played their own instruments too. This song was one of them....great stuff

  • My favorite song from him.

  • jojo get those spinning lights !!.......... hes coming :-)

  • A real big thanks to KXMO 95.3 Cuba Mo.

for playing this one as the format is now including some hits from the 80's.

I am a big 60's and 70's fan but... the 80's had some very awesome music.

Since this is right @1980 you could say it's still the 70's being extended.

    Very good.

  • A time when we had REAL music!!!

  • @hardlines4

you baby boomers are hilarious. i love how you think your lame disco-jazz is somehow superior to the music today. There is still great music being made by people who were born after 1955 believe it or not.

  • @lindemikko LoL, You stick to Lady Gaga...We will stick to REAL music!!!

  • @lindemikko I guess what he means is that music was recorded from musical instruments, played by musician without any MIDI sh*t sequencer. Singer were more than not well versed in playing one or more instruments. Instruments were real, and not some complicated FM modulated sounds. So any music recorded before the JUNO-6 synth came out, etc. Some bands still do that today but they are needles in a hay stack.

  • @2OQP

It still takes considerable talent to make music even with all the new features a producer can use. I still think older folks just don't care for new things in general, especially music since they put so much stock into it emotionally.

  • @hardlines4 , totaylly agree with you man.., I was born middle 70s, but I still like this than the actual garbage that we listen in the radio sometimes..

  • @hardlines4 , totaylly agree with you man..

  • @hardlines4 Yeah really. Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus MUST die!!!!!

  • @hardlines4

Oh God, How right you are....sigh

  • Great song! Jeff is king!!

  • Cool arrangement...tres funky

  • Cool!!

  • On Saturday nights when I'm all alone, I dim the lights and punch my pet chickens to this song

  • Wow 30 years have flown by!

  • que recuerdos me trae esta cancion en mi rimac del 80 saludos a mi gente de portuguez

  • Great song. Boz is the best.

  • Great son, but this video is awful (in the typical early-80's way). Boz wasn't much of a lip-syncher. And the "on the street" part kills me. :)

  • @Liamsmom617, the video may not be that great, but ironically, Boz wasnt trying to sell the video. You have to remember that back in the day it was about the music, not the video. Videos today are more high-tech and flashy but the music sucks

  • The best the Bozz has to over. The perfect vocals and video.

  • This must be a rare vid, sure would like to see a dvd compilation of Boz videos and Live clips released! The only Boz dvd items available is the recent official Live concert & the 1991 Japan show.... Both great by the way!

  • this had a heavy "TOTO" vibe.

  • It was written by David Paich!

  • Toto's Jeff Porcaro was the drummer on this track - unmistakable Porcaro backbeat!

  • this ought to be in movie....blown out stuff

    killah

  • fUnky is always...fUnky.....

  • OMG this song really brings back the memories. Thanx 4 posting

  • Very nice. Thanks alot!

  • Just a thought: When will Jojo ever perform a song entitled "Boz Scaggs"?

  • Hard to believe this song is 29 years old, brings back old memories

  • boz, you tha man .GO JOJO!with your bad ass!!!!

  • I WISH HE WAS BEHIND ME "TEE HEE"

  • O I have been searching for this video for a long time, I simply LOVE this song from Scaggs!

  • God what a fantastic song. I still love it.

Boz is so damn cool. The crap out there today just doesn't cut it.

  • @nitedrive TELL ME ABOUT IT, I SOOOOOOOOOO AGREE!!!!!

  • @nitedrive, i agree with you 100%. I listen to today's r&b and rock and find it seriously lacks substance and quality. I dont hear anything today that i could see as a classic tommorrow. There is no comparison to the music of yesteryear.

  • @nitedrive, i feel ya and i agree 100%. What the heck happened to music today? Its nothing like it used to be......

  • Check out the wonderful Venetta Fields....

  • Incredibley produced music. The sound is great. The Bozz man has more class in one finger than any of todays singers.

  • Saw Bozz last week at MGM Grand. His voice sounds a bit more gravel like from age. However it is still very strong and he puts on a great show. He has not lost anything at 65

  • Talented artist with little airplay he is as talented as Gino Vanelli great singers !!

  • This man is 65 years of age and can still put the kids to shame. And yes you are one of the few that even knows Gino Vanelli so you know what I m talking about. Great music, great talent and so overlooked.

  • that's right starr522 below....... Bozzz born June 8, 1944.... a gem-0-a Gemini.. you can see him naturally enjoying himself in the video. poken' FUN @ the crew- fullof shannanegins, & not afraid of what people think. From his video, you can seee alot about him(body language&reactions&facial expressions. A sharp wit, great performer and person of good character. VOICE unto it's own.

  • I read an article about Gino Vanelli just a few months ago online. He said all his life he loved music. He said his insiration was from church music. How many great artists had their minds made up in church? BTW it said his grandfather had a chain of beauty salons.

  • Boz Scaggs and his Band O' Hunks! Boz Man gives Mista Jagga a run fo' his munneh, yassuh!

  • Once of the best songs ever produced. Great beat, great singing, great everything.

  • Great!!!!! wish I had met him first.
