Please change the video title, it's misleading. The Desert Eagle used in the movie is the Mark I model (which was never available in .50 AE) and actually appears to be the .44 Magnum version, judging by the size of the bore. Also the safety switch is an indicator for the Mark I model.

8 rounds is normal for a .44 magnum type of desert eagle, not the .50 Action Express, which only contains seven rounds. Also, it is obvious he is using the .44 caliber mark I round due to the shape of the safety, which was only present on mark 1's.
