  • 24 People is using an shit Behinger Mixer! HHAHAH

  • thumbs up for the darlek

  • Best hardware they ever made.

  • I have the DJM-900! It's FUCKING AMAZING.

  • too bad i am not rich :(

  • I heard that this is also compatible with Serato Scratch Live. Can anyone confirm this?

  • @ftown631 what do u mean by compatible? Its a mixer...

  • @swashington87 Is it really? I had no idea. I'm just trying to find a good microwave....... I meant do you need to have a scratch live soundcard or can you just use the built in USB that is on this mixer like they said you can do if your using Traktor.

  • @ftown631 lmao, sorry dude, this is youtube and people do ask the dumbest things, to answer your question, it is NOT Serato Certified, you can still use it with serato but it will required a SSL box.

  • your shirt is awesome!!

  • And programs such as serato scratch and traktor scratch to do what you used on just vinyls just with digital music... Get over it.

  • I use sync button only to get the two songs the same bpm then beatmatch with out activating sync while both songs are playing though it honestly doesn't matter syncing allows one to do more fun stuff instead of worrying if his/her song with be in time and beat with the next song this is the present and the future will consist of this a lot trust me.. Stop living in the past vinyl is cool yes but it is old people are moving on still using vinyl just in a playlist and using clear vinyl records an

  • This or the DJM 800?

  • @ReboyGTR this if you can afford it , its the new version of the 800

  • please pioneer low the prices....

  • 2:36 Eh whoee hee i lai abouaoo ee mixaa iss aa ai st lave ee hole leao i ust lav eh wol layat

  • I like this video, but did they really have to use the SAME SONG in all of their demonstrations for the FX?

  • who wants to buy me one?

  • @Relph1984 a REAL DJ is the one that can make the crowd go crazy with a good selection of tracks and good mixing, that statement is getting old, I been djing for 15 years now passing from all formats, technology is here to stay. Open your mind a bit. beat-matching is only ONE thing the DJ does during a mix.

  • @impactdeejay a REAL DJ that one that can beatmach because a real mix is that one that is not done by sync. A SYNC mix is like no mix is happening. DIGITAL SOUND IS ONLY A COPY OF THE REAL SOUNd: ANALOG. If you are mixing digital you are playing with an imitation of real sound and if you are not beatmaching you are not mixing you are making a list in itunes.

  • @MININSTINCT So do you watch YouTube on a piece of wood? Cause that's analog.

  • Comment removed

  • @MININSTINCT you are stupid. im so sick of the "digital DJ's use sync." guess what? i have moved from CDJ's to a numark ns6. it has a sync button on it, but i have NEVER used it. anyone can beatmatch. it isnt hard.

and do you really think sound is analog nowadays? you think that all your favorite producers make music on 100% analog synthesizers? no. get over yourself. you can beatmatch. congrats. so can everyone.

  • Comment removed

  • @MININSTINCT

totaly wrong .... mixing is, make two tracks become one.... how do you do this, is not so important .... its important to create a personal sound ... if you use the sync function you got more space to be active and create the sound ....

beatsync and look how the vinyls spin is easy anyway ..... create your own sound in use of any option you got with digital mixing !!! be an Artist ... not only a Disc Jokey !!!!

  • @mezettexx sorry i prefer to be an artist mixing vinyls that become a computer playlist selection!! mixing analog is a natural thing that gives you a feeling that you will never get with digital!! and sound much more natural!!

  • @MININSTINCT

the diferent is, you got your playlist in a Box .. i got it on a HDD .... its not more natural, playling computer generatetd music on the one or the other playdevices ..... focus has to be on the music , not on the use of equipment...

its not about the feeling when use equipment ... its about the feeling your music will create on the mind. I make music to share my mind and feeling ..... not to feel my self as the greatest, using one option of mixing !

  • Comment removed

  • @MININSTINCT

absolutly wrong !!! iam 31 and i spin my first vinyl round about 1998.... on this time, there where no options and i enjoy it .... but meanwhile you have lots of possebility to create sounds and i go with the time . i make my decision and finaly i choose the right side i think. Time will show

  • @mezettexx time will show...

  • The Xone DB4 with 50 Studio Quality EFX make the Pioneer DJM 900 look like a poor mixer.

  • Real DJ's play with turn table's, vinyl and sync tracks with there ears.

  • @Relph1984 now dj's playing with cdj's , but are they sync tracks with his dicks ?

  • I think it's funny that for the price of this mixer one could build a decent home studio and make their own music which would be more useful than having a super high-tech mixer. For example, I picked up an Akai MPK61 keyboard, Ableton Live, and good reference speakers for $500 less than just the DJM 900. Still a fantastic piece of equipment though.

  • he was mixing on this really annoying 808 beat xD

  • just got one yesterday and don't know how to fuckin work out the thing... this thing's got so much stuff... just fucking lost rite now..

  • Comment removed

  • that breakbeat doesn't get annoying or anything

  • "There is five INSANELY high-quality beat FX""

    >> We are pioneer and we superior

    @02:11

    Love it.

  • Comment removed

  • oh man, briallant toy, i want one!!

  • give me one please :P

  • What is the "scratch" sound he is using, is it buy-able?

  • @TheDjcrazylegs i dont think so its zabiela style hard to make bro but he uses a lot of gater and Tons of effects from EFX 1000 pioneer :)

  • wat does he mean by "running machine" at 1:19???

  • @lilsk8mafia

Maschine.....it's the tool from native instruments :)

  • i cant stand that beat they used in this video.

  • Had the djm 800 for three years loved it but just bought the 900n it literally blows the 800 out of the water almost everything you would want from djm 2000 with the 800 layout. Did I mention way better sound? Love it

  • background music at 3:40 anyone?

  • this better than the 800?

  • Comment removed

  • crap loo at this fc*n price... someone needs to inform Pioneer of the current economical struggles in this world, ... I understand there top of the line in the DJ industry but really...still too much

  • @quipsilonable na i think its worth the money

  • @djscottdog1 DJiing is an overpriced hobby/career as it is but I love it

  • @quipsilonable yer it is but when you have the gear you can make a killing

  • @djscottdog1 Yea provided you'r able to build up a legitimate rep to get gigs

  • @quipsilonable yer true

  • no one, not even zabiela can get away with saying gnarly

  • THIS or the DJM 2000?

  • @ReboyGTR Go this man. DJM2000 is all well and good, but when you go out and play you're gonna be like oh snap. DJM800, or at best 900 nexus. all my sick new skills cant be used out.

  • Did anyone notice the daleks on the speaker

  • Im getting one!

    \

  • bastard i came up wit that transform effect on the 800 wen it first came out!!! fair enough tho!!

  • DJM 900 is a great mixer! At first I was hesitant to invest the money into this mixer because of the steep price. My friend DJRONRON told me I should call up his boy at PSSL 1-800-268-5520 ext. 8195 because he saved a couple of hundred dollars of this top class mixer.

  • What's the name of those white turntables?

  • too expensive

  • i wanted to ask can i connect the 2 cdj 2000 with the djm 900 nexus and mix without using any computer?

  • @macappsreview of course you can, you just need CD's

  • @dehaanproductions i no this seems like a retarded things to say but if i dont ask i wont no for sure but would the djm2000 work on virtual dj with out cdjs like a hercules mixer because my mate is selling his djm2000 and i dont have the money yet for cdjs so if i use the mixer like hercules mixer on virtual dj would it work .............of course i be getting cdjs from a shop neer me once i saved up

  • @corfox011 im almost shure you can use ur Hercules midi controller and use the djm 2000 because one of my buddies was using his s4 and djm 2000 in club set so im pretty shure you can ,

  • dehaanproductions thanks i am sure you can aswell because it would be so cool if you can

  • @corfox011 yea that would be cool how much u pickin up 2000 for?

  • @dehaanproductions 1 grand and 400 pounds he is selling it for he aint had it that long....i no him good price.....................

  • @corfox011 holy yea thats a good price

  • @dehaanproductions yeah u can use the djm2000 has a midi i just found out wow that is cool has fuck

  • these prices are getting out of control

  • sorry 6:15

  • what is the track or song the blonde guy used because it sound like an intro in the minute 6:25

  • Looks neat!

Is it possible to record the session into logic while playing live in the studio? (Not interrested in DJ:ing on stage).

Or is there better gear suited for studio use only?

  • I have it in my studio...the best Pioneer Mixer EVER....great! :)

  • WHAT NAME SONG 03:20 ?

  • The one thing I would like to see is the EQ knobs for the effect input that the DJM2000 has. Its really useful to cut out the low end for the echo and other effects which are more exciting on the high end. I always end up using a bit of filter and a bit of low end eq or some thing when I first engage the delay effects, but I'd like for these changes not to have to propagate to the playing track, but only to the effects.

  • what does he do with an iPad ??

  • @MrArthiom because it's too cool!!! =) Ableton + iPad.....

  • The Pioneer guy wears new glasses

  • 3:13 Dalec???

  • whoaah! X-pad!

  • whats the difference between this and the 2000??

  • DJM- 2000 IS STILL PIONEER BEST DJ MIXER

  • @4:50 how can it possible? Connect the LAN cables into a hub ethernet.....and then? I have to push the quantize button in the mixer, right? Transform effect selected on the cdj 2000 with scratch sample, with the wide pitch selected. But it doesn't work. The effect doesn't stay in time. What I have to do?

  • @faithdeejay read the manual more carefully

  • @DennisVlaanderen I do, but I don't find any answer.....=(

  • The swirl effect is bananas LOL

  • who want to give me a mixer for free?

  • where can i get a scratch sample like that one he used with the gater??

  • where can i get a scratch sample like that one he used with the gater??

  • Allen & Heath DB:4

Makes this thing look almost as stupid as some of the unnecessary nonsense scratching and fucking around Zabiela does with the music at times.

  • @nittyboy you are probably a sad dj

  • I hav tha djm 2000..i wont be buyin anutha mixer for a very long time

  • Just played with the DJM900 this weekend, and it is sooo great.

  • i love the white DALEK from doctor who on his monitor speaker @ zabiela place on 3:12

  • Zaviela don't look very convinced no even look at the camara

  • wait so all I need is a usb and I can use my cdjs with traktor or just the mixer? what if im using denon cdjs ?

  • @karmagreen If your are using Denon there is no a problem, but the DN-X1700 is better, the audio quality, headphone amp, microphone amp, dedicate amp for every phono input instead a shared, limiter for protect your speakers-amp also have Traktor Certified Card, 2 full banks of efects, and for years to come real studio quality faders

Or for one third of the price of the Nexus you can have the DN-X1600 that nearly have all the features of the 1700

  • whats the point in all this stuff? the djm600 still good enough!

  • took there time to get the studio verb

  • with all respect.... this stuff is for bedroom-dj's... I hope I don't have to witness dj's fucking up dope records in the club with all those christmas-geeky-effects.. damn...

  • Wow. Way to go Pioneer in continuing to kill the DJ. Making djing not djing anymore

  • @jamessbg How Can you come up with a new mixer without adding things, I mean; new good colour effects and even an EQ which can kill a whole frequencie instead of -24 db... Dj'ing will becoming more like dj/producing nowadays, which I can enjoy... Im just playing with the normal clubsetup with no pc or usb, just cd's.. no matter ;)

  • @jamessbg your a DIV got and do what James Zabiela can do then talk and if you can do it then go and get some gigs! Dont hate do your thing and just make music if its not your thing then dont use it stop moaning!!

  • that scratching is cheating! but still cool ;)

  • ONLY 2 PHONO IN?

  • Anybody else hate when the video/audio lose alignment and you feel like you are watching a classic asian film translated to english?

  • i prefer the 800 .. im a house dj ... not dubstep or dnb dj

  • @SubscriberX100 900 is not missing any of the 800 features ;)

  • @SubscriberX100 I play dnb and dubstep and I prefer the 800. 900 is for wanky commercial dj's

  • @striderdnb yea i know , but those effects look like theyre made ... theyre usless ..

  • who the fuck needs quantized fx

  • a Dutch DJ Gear shop, has discovered that with certain headphones plugged into the mixer, the entire DJM-900 no longer works. It looks like this is related to the headphone impedance.

My guess is that Pioneer can’t solve this with a firmware update and that all mixers need to undergo a revision, since all shops are asked to send their stock back to Pioneer.

  • @DJLoyd99 just dont plug in sertan trypes of headphones , just use the hdj 1000's

  • @DJLoyd99 - This issue was resolved months ago. All units now shipped have been modified. Any customers who purchased the mixer in the first week after it was launched the modification is a simple 10 minute job and can be done at any authorised pioneer service center.

  • so the new cdj 2000s £1800 each.... an the new djm 900 is £2000 . and they are gettin made in indina for 40 pence . pioneer are nt rippin us off jame s

  • Frankly, this contains some pretty darn terrible marketing. At 1:19 Fancuilli says there's no more need for an external soundcard, but then at 4:27 Zabiela goes: "you just plug in a LAN hub (...)". Wait wait, hold it right there. So you don't need that clumsy external soundcard but you will need a LAN switch instead? This completely baffles me. Marketing the nexus as the successor of the (true professional) DJM-800 pretty much failed by omitting the four ethernet ports the DJM-2000 dóes have.

  • If this mixer was analogue i would buy it. I don't like the sound of the DJM and the eq's. I Stick with Allen en Heath

  • WHY IS THERE NO RECORD OPTION LIKE IN THE DJM350!! God damnit.. Why put it in one and not in your newer models as well? If this had a recording feature I wouldn't have to deal with ext sound cards and progs like Sound Forge.

  • @ReliableMyke Come on. The DJM-350 is generally aimed at bedroom DJ's, whereas this is a proper studio / live DJ mixer - venues where MUCH better recording equipment is readily at hand. Aside from that, if you have the funds to buy expensive DJ equipment for personal use you shouldn't be all to worried about having to buy a solid state recorder of sorts. Really, what's your point?

  • YAY! no more snapping faders!

  • I'm sold! Will be buying as soon as it comes out!

  • Question: I have a pair of cdj-2000. I really need the new Audio10 from Native Instruments with the DJM-900nexus? Or I have to simply upgrade my Traktor Pro?

  • @DolceSpank81

I dont think you need the audio10. this is traktor scratch certified. (unless you need the many connections on the interface?)

just upgrade Traktor Pro to Tractor T2 on or after aprill 11th i think. buy this and your away.

  • why is everyone giving the 2000 so much crap

  • @woolensheep192 Because touch doesn't make things easier, but things worse. I want to do multiple things at once, e.g. beatmatch and use a color effect at the same time. With the touch for effects on the 2000, I need to look at the effect and can't do more things at once.

  • Nice Virtual DJ Productions P i O n E e R nice nice nice

  • $2,600 Please!!!! I will just stick to my DJ 800 and my 1210's and Seratos

  • yeyeye, sure, it´s a great mixer and all, no doubt bout that, the fx are ace but u know what? just as the djm 800 is, the 900 will be hell of overpriced-

built purely digitally it saves pioneer a lot of money since digi is way easier to make then analog mixers, and the fx like beatroll and stuff are standard in pretty much any dj application. i still dj with vinyl. i used the xones 42 quite a time, used the djm 700. the 700 is overpriced, should cost 50% of it´s current tbh

  • Could you please tell me a little bit more about the DJM 900 crossfader. Is it good enough for advanced scratching? I have read online that it is very similar to the DJM 909 crossfader which had a fully adjustable cut in and tension. Is that possible on the DJM 900? I currently own a DJM 800 with an innofader upgrade because the original DJM 800 crossfader wasn't very good. The DJM nexus looks brilliant, but I have had a hard time finding any info about the quality of the upgraded crossfader.THANKS

  • whats the difference between cdj 2000 nd 900 nexus ?

  • @marvie05marv the cdj 2000 is a pitcher and the 900 NEXUS is a mixer ;)

  • @TFSHaenger i mean the djm 2000 and djm 900 nexus

  • i like the quantize EFX, Dose the djm 2000 have this function?

  • Release date anyone??

  • sorry but Pioneer are not sounding mixing tables!

  • ipads, 2 laptops, 2 cdjs, kaoss pads??!! i thought i was in trouble lugging around a pair of technic 1210's haha

  • how much?

  • if you had to choose between the DJM2000 or the DJM900 which one would you pick?

  • haha i love how they used pearson sound for the background music during the intro

  • Allen & Heath or Pioneer mixer? i'm about to spend a lil fortune on either one of these mixers? what do you guys think is this one or the A&H Dx

  • @arandomdj bit crooked posting it on a pioneer vid haha, what are you mixing ?

  • Comment removed

  • @metalsinani i know... free of market... i'm mixing tech house mainly and some progressive stuff at times

  • @arandomdj out of the 2 you named id always go for allen and heath because i dont use effects, it all depends on what you want out of it though, a key thing for my next mixer is that i need three phono inputs because im using 3 turntables, so thats the xone 42 out of the window haha. if you use lots of effects however (and mixing minimal anything you probobly do) then pioneer may be the way to go. my next mixer is going to be a rane. no fx, but frightening quality. check them out too

  • Fabulous mixer but pioneer are just gonna charge a absolutely ridiculous price for it .

  • Nothing beats vinyl

  • James zabiela its like a god

  • whats the price? and does this mean that the 700 and 800 will have a price drop?

  • Effects are dumb.. laptops djs suck

  • djm 900 or djm 2000??

  • @MrBAbYGS 900 bro, any fucking day

  • how much???

  • if the track isnt from 1978 you dont need all the effects

  • i know its noobish, will this be a good mixer for mixing trance music?

  • HAHAHA 9 PEOPLE JUST BOUGHT THE DJM 2000 AND WATCHED THIS!

  • @mvelizsur13 :)

  • @mvelizsur13 the djm 2000 is better though

  • they just fucked serato in the ass with this. interested in how they will get back at them

  • @karmagreen

How did they fuck serato int he ass? Serato still needs that breakout box does it not? That breakout box still has to hook up to a mixer doesn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what remember that was the big reason I didn't want a Serato setup. Too much extra spaghetti to connect up.
