The color of the paracord isn't "acu-grey" it's ACU Gray. The ACU stands for Army Combat Uniform and and the cord is just the same shade of grey they use in the ACU camo pattern. just an fyi
i just got this bag, and was looking to see what everyone keeps in it, I have similar items in mine and I just realized, if for some reason a cop got a hold of a bag like this they would really have to question the intentions of a person carrying it... flashlights, gloves, pry bars, knives, lock pics, bazookas... kinda funny.
you need a solarpanel there for chargin your communication devices such as GPS, GSM, GPRS etc etc..urban enviroment requires electronics and most of them are free of charge along with your solarpanel! ;)
You should keep your cord properly coiled. Cordage cannot be use until they are untangled and the way it is packaged will get tangled when you use it. There are good video, here, showing how to do that so any length can be dispensed easily.
@cutlerylover oh so this is yur vehicle kit, ahhh makes sense lol, i was jus sitting there thinking, "wow people must ask questions at work n stuff" but yeah, if i had a vehicle id have something similar im sure, right now i just EDC 3d maglite crkt bearclaw at university, its downtown campus, late night classes etc.... thanks for the reply though i enjoyed the vid, thanks for explaining BTW
Just gotta say: I absolutely dig all the Maxpedition stuff. I carry a Jumbo with me on a daily basis and I'm completely satisfied with it. It has room for anything you might ever need when on the move. I added a Maxpedition Barnacle, an M2 Waistpack, a triple mag holder (for attachment to the velcro part in the CCW pocket) and a Blackhawk single mag pouch (for my multi tool) to it . Whoever doesn't have one yet: get one or at least go check 'em out! Man purses FTW !
Get rid of the Ray-O-Vac batteries as they are the lowest end pieces of crap batteries. Also, dump the 2 C-cell LED Maglite and replace it will a smaller light to cut down significantly on weight.
@Pwn3dify I don't know about Inova, but they seem a little overpriced to me. They may have some good stuff,, but a Fenix LD20 w/ a set of Energizer Lithiums does great, at least for me.

jesus you are really paranoid. I bet you every day pray to be in a situation were you need to bring out all youre lights knifes and kill some bad guys w youre gun come one don't you live in a developed country if you wana use all that and make an every day strugle go to el salvador or something like that
I am constantly putting together different bags like this, i just wanted to share some ideas like e-blanket(s), poncho(s), sunscreen, pepperspray, talc/footpowder, wire, zippo, lighter fluid. I am a knife guy also and I try to keep it limited to a fixed blade for tough stuff (like prying) a multi tool (good file a must) and an x-acto. I could justify the addition of a folding buck saw, machete, serrated rescue knife etc.. but that mora will probably be the only knife you would ever need.GOODVID
hey Jeff do yo u have a review on the kershaw shallot your reviews are th only ones that are useful and i liked to know the specs on my knife, John R.
That's a lot of batteries. If you're ever in a situation that you would end up using them all, you're missing some major necessities. Just my opinion of course.
IMO real men don't worry what "the guys would say".
I've carried bags like this for over a decade, in that time I've gotten maybe five comments about it being a "man purse". As soon as the commenter's realized I didn't give a sh!t what they thought they shut up.
Besides, what could be manlier than a bag that allows you to carry a full sized pistol? I carry an XD loaded with 14 rounds of 45ACP in mine.
Hey dude I carry a bag kinda like that and my friends call it my man purse but im the only one who is prepared and i've taken care of the gashes they've got. so they dont say anything anymore. it's not that bad tho as long as it isn't too tactical
Nice EDC - but seriously, get rid of the Maglight. You're probably like me - it's the light you grew up with. But it's just weighing you down. Surefire 6p - nothing fancy. Tt's the way to go.
i have seen like 40 vids from you and the thing that striked me imeditly is dude!!!! your like the most prepared dude in the world foe the zombie apocolypse!!!
I use soem of these tools, the others stay in the bag in case of an emergency, however this is an older video, my setuip changed quite a bit...I carry more tools I actually use these days..
Hey Bud, nice job. Milspecmonkey is good but, not to be rude, but im wondering if they shower with this stuff on? lol : ) just joking. I Second the Motion to show folks how to make a "Paracord Wrap Handle" on your little pry bar. Also, I am assuming your no criminal, who makes that pick again? I still have the old plastic black case one! ack! I hate it. What else would be cool is if somewhere you put a list of not only what you (camp) with, but also, "survival stuff you might carry? Best, Dave
i just finish watching a couple of videos on EVD and stuff like that and what surpirsed me the most is that none of the guys in the videos when they showed their stuff none of them had what i think to be one of the most basic tool -duct tape or any tape ???
I work with everyhgin that goes in the mail, letters, checks, magazines, catalogs, newspapers, flyers, medicine, packages, small and large...everythgin that goes in the USPS postal system...when I travel I only have to drive an hour out to another postal building...but I dont need to travel often...
Just in case you didn't know, Sleeplesserf is using your other every day bag video on his site. He took mine also. It would be nice if he asked first.
THEN COULD U PLEASE. make a another bob bag vid. i really like this one and the edc updates PLEASE DO THEM regulary. i really wanna see bob bag vid update.
hey Great video but I don't know if oyu go in outdoor surviving or just hicking but you should have at least 2 ways to start a fire and ALSO very important a sweedish fire steel those last forever they are really good
This is an older video I ahvw changed my setup, but yes if I am out in the woods more than a a mile from peopel and homes I do carry multiple methods of fire making...just in case, but I dotn venture too far too foten, mostly just hiking relativley near civilization...mostly for the peacefulness and excersise...
Nice bag set up, but... where is the gun?? I mean I think a nice lightweight .22 lr revolver (a snubie one) would be a nice tool if need it like againts feral dogs, crazy domestic ones too and if scumbags you can find in the your way if you go hiking.
I dont use CR123 lights anymore...I recently have been using a nitecore D10 which is less than half the size of the G2 and almost twice and bright (over 100 lumens)...and only used a single AA battery...
too many knives for me man, we knife-freaks often go overboards. 1 knife - 1-2 tools with knives max, not 6-7, I used to be totally overpacked, but im more simplistic these days.
I wousdl suggest buyuing the newer stock LED minimags but if you cant afford then then yes the upgrades are worth it...a stock 2AA LED minimag is like $20 at walmart...
I upgraded my "D-size" mag light to LED, and am very happy. But upgrading the mini-mag to LED is just okay at best. The switch on the back is funky, and it isn't very positive. I'd just get a new small LED light from Costco... and with the waterproof feature, you'll be way ahead. Check out the Dorcy.
My things in JUMBO - IMCO fuel lighter, Smith&Wesson SWAT II folding knife + Wenger multitool, DOAN magnesium fire starter, magnifying glass, Freeloader Solar battery set with connector set and Battery charger, a set of rechargeable AA/AAA batteries - for these I have attached the VOLTA battery pouch - so I can get the power either directly from sun or convert it back from AA/AAA batteries, Mini Maglite, small lockpick set, and legal ROHM signal revolver (gas weapon).
My job is in the street, i carry a Targus Backpack with my work laptop, carry a 2C maglite, 9 led aaa flashlight, first aid kit, leatherman, gerber and victorinox knives, (better than a toolbox) paracord, snack food a camelback, an army spoon and fork, krazy glue, duct and masking tape, small am fm radio, and a lot of other thnigs, ridiculous? not, when me or somebody needs help it works fine. I ride an ofroad legal Motorcycle in the City.
this is not for camping, its a urban bag, although it clearly has campign stuff in it, this video is kidn of old I ahve a totally new setup now which is more suited for urban enviroments...No more fire kit, lol...and when I say uirban I really just mean rural...so that was a poor word usage...
Ever thought about putting some small solar battery staff with Li-on batteries? Helps to get some boost for Your GPS, cell-phone or other equipment when You are cought outdoors without power source. Also You can charge Your AA/AAA batteries for LED.
I would recommend an ESBIT pocket stove as well.
And yes, I do own Maxpedition Jumbo S-Type versipack and many staff You packed there is similar to mine ;).
This is actually an older video so I modified what I carry and even the bag I use, but yeah I keep it in ym car but sometiems bring ym bag inside my work, I work for a women who holds a postal contract so I do the mail, but I dotn work directly for the post office, she doesnt mind, infact shes glad I alwasy have what she needs, lol..Im lucky shes cool with ym knife addiction too...
with the advancement is LED technology I dont worry abotu that, my Fenix lights are still running on the same batteries as when I got them about 6 motnhs ago, as for the maglight, I hardly use it really...Its just there just in case I need a light with more throw...
camelbak nice lol theyre very expencive but worth it unless you wanan end up like me carryng a daypack and a camelbak and it leaking on the trail so i was pretty bummed out
also couple of tips or useful info for the camper. garbage bags they r so useful from dirty clothes to medical throwaways like used gauzes and you can use it as a tent if it comes down to it. duck tape keep a slamm role of duct tape its so useful to patching stuff to medical uses.if that wasnt a brand name nalgene(or if it was) i was on the appalachin trail a good bit up ive dropped my nalgene weant down to get it nothing on it great condition they have wide varieties hope these tips were useful
nope, not right now, I use to own 2 cats, both meant to be indoor cats but got out and loved it too much to come back, lol, but that was years ago, now I jst have ym 2 dogs...I have a video on them, just search cutlerylover dogs...
I have changced the contents of this bag alot over tiem and kept what I used and ditcvhed what I didn't besides emergency items, but those are good ideas...I do have an emergency blanket as well as 2 cheapo ponchos from walmart...
What kind of torx set is that? I've been looking for something like that.

Hi there!
Godspeed!
