I have two female Peruvian piggies, ones pure white and the others a tanish blonde. They aren't very playful though, in there cage they don't walk around much sept to go eat or drink. And when I let em out they cuddle next to each other and just sit there, it's cute but whenever I see videos there moving around

@budbloombeyou I checked their site and the information they provide on care of guinea pig is incorrect though. They say to feed them alfalfa cubes when alfalfa causes kidney stones in guinea pigs and is very bad for them. Therefore I don't know if they are a reliable breeder to buy from.

where the hell do i find these guinea pigs. sorry for the language but i have been searching for like two years and no pet shop carries them :( i am from peru but i cant travel all the way over ther for a cute wittle piggie lol. ugggghhh im sooooo frustrated :-( people here in usa overcharge these animals. in my country they are like two dollars lol

@FamilyGuyRockz2009 im from peru too! and my grandpa eats guinea pigs but i live in the US u shud go to the place where they sell them 4 food but tell the person not to kill the guinea pig and then bring him/her home but the problem is do they have guinea pig cages in Peru???

@cavycrazed12 where do they sell live guineas for food in the usa! lol yea parents eat guineas...im not going to lie it is very delicious...lol but no i have stopped the guinea pig eating! lol. umm in orlando there is a place in st. petersburg fl where they have a ton of long haired guineas for adoption. yes peru has a lot of guineas...but i havent seen many long haired over there.

im soon getting a piggy for the first time. I had a hard time searching up types. I'm getting one in 8 months, and i finally have a pet to myself. I have a pampered pooch who my mom gaurds. So i decided to get a gunnie pig to have to myself. I made up my mind. I'm getting a peruvian. Any tips? thanks.

@Holliter6100 well it will have to be brushed every day so it wont get tangles and will need a bath every 2 to 6 months as well as a haircut. If you let the hair get too long then he/she will pee on it and it will get quite dirty so keeping it short around the butt is good

Pretty! I'm jealous! I just cut my baby's hair very short as they are also Peruvian :( It's very hot here everyday :( 90 degrees in my room and we have no aircon :(
