Für mich ist Helmut Walcha der Organist schlechthin. I bekam von meinem Vater eine LP mit den Toccaten, und seitdem beurteile ich die Orgelkünstler von heute mit seinem Massstab. Ich war nur 12 Jahre alt und leicht zu beeindrucken. Ich habe später Orgel studiert und bin jetzt ein gelernter Organist, aber immer muss ich mit H. Walcha vergleicehn

Ohters might have colors, technique, groove or style, but he has the core. No one else has ever come close to this much depth. He knows Bach, Oh, God heaven, he does know Bach! its true beauty, from the very surface to the secrets hidden deep inside.
I want to shout to the heaven, we had Helmut Walcha to play your great works!

wirklich eine einmalige Interpretation,es gibt nichts schöneres wenn einer es wirklich versteht die Orgel so gekonnt zu registrieren.Ein Traum!

Das ist für mich das schönste Orgelwerk überhaupt. Einfach genial. Helmut Walcha hat dieses Stück sicherlich am besten interpretiert.
