Noswaith Dda. As far as I am concerned, the London riots were just so hoodlums could loot and pillage. I agree with you about the DSLRs, the ability to buy a good camera does not make one a photographer, any more than the ability to buy a boat makes one a good sailor or navigator. I made my living as a photographer for years, and when people would see my pics and say "you must have a good camera", I'd ask them "so do you think Steinbeck must have had a good typewriter?"
