@KodaJosh098 Don't just judge people by how the "mass media" labeled them. I'm not a pro-marcos person but i AFAIK, the Philippines is far better with the marcoses. During his term, the Philippines was at par with Japan & Korea, we we're about to jump economically into a first world country. And during the first 3 years of the late Corazon Aquino we we're in -7% growth. "The People Power" resulted into foreign investors to leave the country & invested to SG and HK.

How the hell would the Philippines be the next "Singapore" when Marcos disallowed foreign investors and took over foreign companies like GMA Network (It was owned by an American but given to current CEO Gozon and former Congressman Duavit -- that's probably why GMA produces so much crappy shows, not even close to ABS-CBN.)
