I've been wondering about this for a while, but why does this witches swatter summon different things than the ones we have in DFO. Is it a swatter lvl thing or is it just a change to the skill?

Its the witch(Scholar) Patch, all with skills get basically incredibly boosted, Swatter summons change, we take damage during our Tier 3 skills (Megadrill/furance/collider, gravatias doesnt count) And Mantaeu gets changed from invincibility frames to super armor frames.

Also, its probably a 4 element witch build, rather uncommon due to weak damage because our damage is fixed and we need to level up our skills to be useful >:

Actually, Its more of a PvE based build, she doesnt level swatter/Jackie, and Rain, She doesnt get specific elements, but specific PvE skills, AKA Ehnhanced magic missle, the tier 3 skills, Fusion Craft, and so on.

If you had worded it "we" instead of "he" then it would be different

I saw her use both of those pretty often actually. Lava potion in every room and acid rain in almost every room.

And guess what? DnF has an Update coming called 2nd Impact. More Bosses, New Skills (looks), New Avatars, Level Cap raised to 70 etc.

DFO really blows compared to this.

I can only hope they'll raise the Cap to 60 somewhere around New Years, otherwise my resolution is the death of Nexon.

can i ask how long we've been in beta? ive been with nexon, through maple story(quit half a year ago), for a couple of years now, and over time nexon seems to fail harder and harder, the biggest so far was the 26-7 hour long maple story sever check after they patched ms, they found out they f'd up and continuously f'd up over and over promising the users every 2 hours that the game would b up in 2 hours

having DFO been in OB for over 4 months? what else needs to be tested?

Would you rather have a witch with all 4 elements or a specializing witch? Like, is the damage output worth it to spread all your skill points across all trees?

Just focus on 2 for mains.

Most people pick Light/Fire.

Getting Befriend Pluto only helps Swatters success, and that isn't worth it, only for funsies. Flame Furnace, Lava Potion, Broomstick Spin, EMM, that's where the damage lies. If you try and spread your points to all four elements, you'll be weak.

On the up hand, you'll have a lot of skills?

Well witches attacks can be a real pain since it's all about probability for damage, but by god they can do insane amounts of area of effect damage.

It's all probability attacks, but when you get higher lvl, you will have higher chance to have successful skills. Now it is hard to see the fail skills when I am finishing a dungeon.

Witches arent liked as much due to the fact that a large sum of their attacks are inconsistent and relatively low dmging. They are nice assets to parties, but people want something they can show off with solo'ing in pvp, which is incredibly hard [but not impossible in the least] with witch. They'd much rather go with the straightforward slayer class or typical elementalist, in general.

You make this look waaaaaay too easy. I simply have to wonder though, is this dungeon below you're level? (A lot of people do that to make their character look good, though I'm not saying you did.) I wouldn't know any better simply because I haven't made it this face in DFO.

Well, from what i can see, he seems to be lvl 51, and the dungeon surely is for 49-51, so i guess his level isn't so off?

I just recorded all map in normal, so I can actually finish the map quickly. I recorded my videos to show my friends what kinds characters are in DnF. All I needed was to show all of their skills in short period of time so it would not be boring. (Watching a charcter running the map for 5-10minutes are not fun. you know~) Anyway, I personally like witch very much.

I want to make a witch but ppl keep telling me at high lvl you can't solo bosses because they regen more then your damage, is that true? It is IMPOSSIBLE to solo the boss, or maybe possible with a great weapon and the right skills?

Witch was weaker before the update which was done this year, and they also consumed lots of cube when they use their regular skills. Now, they are much stronger than before, and I personally like witch best in mage class.

i cant decide weither to make a battle mage of a witch because i heard that the witch has a really hard time with soloing bosses in the upper lvls so i wanted to ask if it was really that big of a deal or if it just takes a little longer to kill them.

witch = aoe u cant expect and aoe class to be good at soloing :\ i think elementalist and battleamge are probably the best bet to solo
