Yeah, I agree. The Lakers have been keeping him around forever, by now he should have developed a killer jump-shot, and been able to do more than what he's shown. Seems like he's already maxed out his potential.

Honestly though, I can't see the Lakers getting anything back in a trade more than some scrub making around his $5-mill/yr. They're on the hook for another year after this upcoming season at $5-mill also. If I'm Mitch Kupchak I'd look to pair up Walton/Farmar/Sasha for a PG in return.

That is true about keeping championship role players around. I like Luke and Farmar too, Luke especially is a very solid bench player & he has become an expert at running the triangle offense.

But the Lakers gotta start thinking about if Farmar is going to pan-out, I can envision him becoming a Tony Parker-like player, but so far he is closer to Smush Parker. I think Farmar has got to settle down some, he is too hyper when he enters games sometimes. I do like him though & hope he sticks around.
