lease don't get me wrong regarding my opinion of the 'laminin' as I do believe how we came to be is a miracle, but !!!!! saying that the 'laminin' is a sign of God as it is shaped in a cross has me somewhat baffled and confused. The cross did not become a symbol of God until Jesus died on the cross (hence the shape of the cross) if he had died in another manner we would be using that as a symbol.
We were created long befor the cross became a symbol of worship, so this does not convince me.
@Furbelongstoanimals The Bible claims that Jesus did not die in an arbitrary manner, but in a predetermined manner. Jesus even says "for this reason I was born" or something like that. The point is that it is easy to see that God (being God) is not limited by time in the same way that we are.
@Furbelongstoanimals God is not bound by man's time... God is immesurably beyond human capabilities and understanding, He in fact is indescribable, immesurable.
The Laminin diagram is shaped like a Caduceus with double helix snakes on a staff surmounted by wings. Laminin resembles the Rod of Hermes/Mercury in Greco-Roman mythology more than a Christian Cross. The double helix Caduceus is different from the Rod of Asclepius, which has a single snake coiled around a staff and is used as the symbol of the modern medical community. Note: The pole of Moses did not have a double helix like Laminin either, but a single coiled snake like the Rod of Asclepius.
look I'm sorry.... I'm a devout Christian. but I'm also a scientist. while these two can complement each other, you cannot use religion to prove or disprove science or science to prove or disprove religion.
While this is a super cute story, it means nothing. The most significant molecule of our body is Carbon. carbon is pretty much what defines life.
yet carbon has 6 protons, 6 neutrons and 6 electrons. 666.
why would God choose this element?? oh wait, its a coincidence. like laminin.
@that70sfan11 All I can say is I will pray for you. Great architects always leave their mark. It is historically true in the mansions we see of our Founding Fathers and wealthy businessman who hired the best architects in the world. They all left a certain mark of their own that could be distinguished. If you are truly a Christian, you wholeheartedly believe that God is you body's architect, so why is this impossible to you? We as Christians know that NOTHING is impossible with God.
@republican1776 thank you for the prayers but my faith is strong enough that I don't need little stories such as this to keep me believing. I never said it was impossible... I don't think that word even APPEARS in my comment at all. so you make no sense. I agree nothing is impossible with God, but I don't think God would use a little molecule to "prove" his existence. I don't need proof. so stop being so holier-than-thou please it angers the people you try so hard to convert.
@that70sfan11 Your faith is strong brother. I like videos like this because I really do think that God has made many subtle things for us Christians to see and celebrate. Atheists will say Christians are single minded but I believe it is the other way around, it takes faith to believe and to be able to let go of your own feeling of superiority.
For you Jesus Freaks, the cross was not a religious symbol in the christian sense before the story of Jesus dying on the thing was written, it was an execution device by Romans and others earlier on. Before the story of Jeesus became a popular myth, people still had Laminin, so get a grip and stop clutching at straws and reading into shapes of nature, its not fucking God or Jesus!
@ANewHuman The Bible says that providentially, Christ was crucified before the foundation of creation. God knew we would sin & rebel against Him & yet because of love, He also made a plan for our redemption. The cross was always part of His amazing grace plan for humanity. And we've only recently discovered the shape of the protein molecule that was there from the beginning.
We have swastika-shaped molecules in our brains. The swastika was originally a Hindu symbol. Hindus claim Vishnu to be one with everything, and therefore to know everything and be all powerful. Does that convince you that Hinduism is true? Of course not. But it's the same thing.
There are doubtlessly hundreds of different molecules in our bodies that are cruciform. Why is Laminin important? Because pastors can spin it into a nice message — "God holds us all together".
Thank you for posting this wonderful video!!! GOD and JESUS CHRIST saved my life and live inside of me!! As a Christian, it makes me so sad when people deny the very GOD who breathed the breath of life into them. Please pray for all those people who refuse to accept the truth. Let us all pray that their hearts will be opened.
@fisheyeon Anther interesting study is the books by Dr. Paul Brand, "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made", and "In His Image" They were written with Philip Yancy. These books give pause for thought.
Laminine, has been created, studied and tested to help in many diseases since 1929 by a doctor in canada, It is now being offered in the usa as a protein supplement. Some say that they feel euphoria when they take this supplement it has cured pain, created more stamina and help people sleep better.
Ken thanks for all your work. Just to let you know that there is a lot more to Laminin that what is presented here. The subject matter would be in the study of glyconutrients or glycoproteins.
There is a family of 8 of these that are responsible for the cell to cell communication in the body. They are how the body knows to even function. Also the absence of these glycoproteins, can and will give way to a myriad of disfunction in the body that the medical system calls disease.
There are many proteins that will cause myriad disorders if they are absent - for instance, if you have some genetic mutation that eliminates cytochrome c from your mitochondria, you will be dead. Cytochrome c looks like a glob - so I guess Christians can't get too excited about it.
Right on! Thank you for posting this! GOD is so beautiful and glorious beyond our fathoming! Praise the LORD! It is a good thing to give thanks to HIM! Hallelujah! Much love, joy and peace to you and yours in the grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!

This is where we [Christians] take some things like this IN FAITH. Today, the real reason no one wants to believe in God, is because they don't want to be accountable for their life. Ever heard the Pearl Jam song "I Am Mine?" Sums it up nicely. Selfishness keeps the door of the heart closed and LOCKED. When we find out information like this, God knocks at the door, but the sad truth is, instead of opening the door, we try and find a way to NOT consider the information at hand.
It's not about accountability in any way. I wish it could be, and that simply not believing in god would make one unaccountable for his/her life and actions. No, the real reason people don't want to believe anymore is because it simply doesn't make sense. It's that 'faith' part that makes everything else you've learned in life feel dirty and wrong.
