  • I think the question about bass drums is answered by the name Eric Delaney! I believe he was the first! But some-one may correct me!

  • Who said this was laid back? This is most definitely NOT laid back! It's amazingly intricate for a power trio with no bells and whistles. Clapton's guitar tone is astonishing, somehow a little like Leslie West without a Les Paul. I do miss the wah-wah though, and I also miss the fuzz sound on the bass that was so favored back in the day. I guess they didn't want to sound dated.
