I feel like this band makes a solid mix of the Mars Volta with Dance Gavin Dance. Kurt Travis (in my personal opinion) always fit DGD better than Johnny Craig, though I'll admit Johnny Craig is probably a more talented vocalist. Not that either of them aren't amazing by any means.

ALLB said they were going to try to change to a more cohesive sound built off of a solid lineup instead of the sort of "supergroup" that contributed on Plan B, so expecting that I think this is totally amazing. It incorporates some of the crazy musicianship and genre-bending of Plan B into a somewhat more controlled post-hardcore format.

It's very similar if you listen to the two. Plan B was at least more original. Their still a sweet band, this is just kind of disappointing.
