How to Install and Optimize Thesis Theme for Wordpress

Hi, I followed your tutorial but got stuck when trying to rename the custom-sample 'custom'. I got a message saying 'target file name already exists' and 'cannot create a file when that file already exists' and 'failed to retrieve directory listing', and so can't save the changes to the file permissions. Can you please help?

couldn't I have just uploaded the entire zip and let Wordpress install it for me? or is the theme not going to install correctly if I do this?

@avgjoegeek - I'm with you dude. I followed all of these FTP install videos and made a huge mess before just unzipping the file in wordpress like any other theme. Am I missing something?

@stoi689 You will still need to change the permissions in the custom folder inside the theme_182 folder after it has been unzipped and uploaded.

Best bet is try going to the diythemes page for installation and it goes through it pretty throroughly on how to do it.
