what is your band camp like? What function does the talent show serve?

@bandgeekmike It is hard work, especially recently. We don't really get much more down time. The talent show is just a night we get to relax.

That's not what I mean. I mean, I assume that you do a Dum Corps-style show. Usually, in order to be mediocre that requires at least two weeks of nine hours of rehearsals during the summer with two and a half hours of breaks (lunch and dinner) each day. Often during those breaks, people have sectionals. So, with all of that time literally eating, sleeping, and breathing band, where do you get time for a talent show?
