@ScientiaVeritasEtLux Growing up with Cerebral Palsy, I was lucky that my parents didn't put me through similar hogwash. Its must be harder for parents of profoundly autistic children. I think that one of the problems is that the parents of autistic children, and disabled children in general, are so vulnerable to every sort of quackery. There needs to be more scientific information about disabilities and also a social dialog that talks about how the disabled are more than their condition.
I was originally optimisitic, the video did seem to present some valid evidence...
Establishing Eye contact is one good indicator..
And if it happens to reduce brain swelling, that's a good thing, regardless if autism is involved or not.
At the same time I'm concerned as to the damage that breathing pure oxygen would do to these children's lungs and bodies.
However it seems that this small sample of the community is thouroughly un-convinced. I think it deserves some looking into at least.
