a resolved Pledge is usually pretty close to gg catagory, especially with good cards like Armament Master and Bold Defense. plus, rather than draw cards with the altar, why not he just stick to the plan and use his Queller to turn his tokens into edicts? it's a much more sound plan, honestly.

Seriously. My friend's been referring to Zendikar as "dollar bills" because of fetches, lotus cobra, etc. They're not exactly huge bombs in limited.

ok, ill give you that most of the cards aren't great for constructed. However, he drafted like 28? something playables. that's more than we have been used to with m10 by far and more than you usually got with alara block.
