If you guys don't know that his birds love what he is doing with them even it's not visible in this one that is what they like is to be played with stuff they don't like at the beginning but explorer which is what birds love, then you don't have parrots or you have but don't know much about it..
@dimitri9933 Hey how are you going ? :-)) no both genders are equally easy to train it comes down to personality more than anything else I suggest start with training 1 budgie @ a time when he/ she is tame and eager to learn then introduce another budgie for two reasons A its very important for your budgie to have the benifits of your friendship and his /her own species for their health and B the first budgie you have trained will encorage th 2nd budgie you adopt to tricks you will want2 teach

@Misfitunder birds being 'treated with toys', not used as toys. im retarded? says the guy who said (if you dont still a kid). it's "in" school not "on" school. parakeets and especially budgies love toys, if they didnt like it they wouldnt go near it! after watching this video i showed a tech deck to my cockatiel, and he didnt like it, so he ran away from it. the budgie would run. you think you know what you dont know but i know what i know i think i know! mind bottling......... @eireeireeireeire Yaah they all allow me to handle them this way infact I have taught them other tricks to, like rolling onto their backs and just lying still in my hand is one trick , they are much like dogs my budgies , I also train them to lie flat which they seem to love to do as-well and to jump up and down and flip themselves over mid air . they are extremly smart and keen to learn and they really enjoy the tricks they're very very playful .
@eireeireeireeire It's got to do with how you start out your relationship with your birds. The first two I had back in 2003, I reached out to them gradually like it says to do in training books, until they got comfortable with me, and they stayed on my shoulder, ate at the table with the family, etc. The ones we have now, we didn't do that with, so they also protest from being held.
@KirbyHanchar I can assure you they are not terrified !! infact they insist on this activity and become quite disgruntled if they cannot play this way at least once a day , they love it and are handled with ABSOLUTE CARE ! they are members of my family I love and respect them and advocate that others treat there birds with gentleness and respect too ! not as TOYS this is an enjoyable learning activity 4my birds and a supervised one !
How do you train them to do that?? I tried to train my budgie, but she keeps biting and flying away.. I made a ramp (a very small one) but every tim I push her down she flys away. Any advice?
@TheIzzyBird Hi there ! thanks for your comment I get a lot of feedback asking me how I train my budgies ( because the stunts are harder to teach then they look. I took a look at your Izzy and she seems very clever to me , I would suggest as I have done in my training video that you start her with the basics getting her used to perching on the skateboard then moving it along step by step before progressing to ramps or other stunts . please take a look at my training DVD
PLEASE BE ADVISE careful handeling and Extreme caution is practiced through all my training videos with my birds , training budgies to skateboard takes patience and willingness of my budgies during training NOT ALL budgies are interested in learning to skateboard so please do not force your birds into any training activity
