not a bad video for beginners, but if there beginners would you not work on all things before they even get to the board like the approach, breathing, keeping the darts going in a straight line, i suggest using a perice of white string, tape it to the top of the dart board then run it down wards through the centre of the 20 and 3 to the floor then tape it to the floor and continue to run it to the middle of the oche, this way you have something for your arm to follow and a target to aim at

also id suggest finding a set of darts that feel comfortable and set up that works .... depending on the way you hold your dart and the way you throw will depend on how you set up your dart

man they stand so close. i bought 50 darts spending over 150 dollars and only throw over arm pegs from a minimal distance of 15 metres. i dont egt consistant 180s by my darts all land in the triple circle

@bammargeraskate96 for darts, you should start out with brass darts and then move on to the better tungsten darts and for a start just buy a winmau or unicorn dartboard depending on what you are willing to spend:)

@eduard007best Why should a beginner start out with brass darts? This just means they're fatter. Tungsten darts are only better for some because they can be thinner than a brass dart of the same weight. Beginners would do well to start off with a decent set of tungsten darts, so that they don't have to get used to a new feel of dart later on.

@mysteryloser24 I only said that because that is what i did and they are cheaper and it gets you used to the grip on other darts but you have to look around for them as well but that's what I would get someone to do if i was coaching them.

@eduard007best Brass darts are cheaper? Not necessarily true, as there are many sets of tungsten darts that are extremely cheap too. The set I use at the moment are 95% tungsten, they've never let me down, and they only cost me £10. :)
