  • Eric Harris used one of these in the Columbine shooting.

  • I don't see the recoil

  • I count 29 shots.

  • would this be a good gun to hunt with? what about deer? would a 9mm have enough take down power? i want to get one of these guns. but should i get the 9mm or the 40? do they make this gun in a .45

  • @breezyatv90 I've known a few people to get deer with the 9mm if they are hunting in an area where the shots are fairly close (less than 60 yards) and using +P ammo. I'd think that the .40 or .45 carbine would work better for this though. Yes they do make a .45 carbine now, it's called the 4595TS. I had one for about a year, it was an excellent weapon I just didn't shoot it much and sold it to fund my first machine gun.

  • @breezyatv90 you don't want to hunt deer with 9mm! the deer will keep running a good ways after you shoot him through the lungs with a 30-06. if you shoot a deer with a 9mm you will have no luck finding the deer because the bullet will not go though and they will run off and die over the coruse of the day

  • @snork707 what about the .45?

  • @breezyatv90 no sorry. you wouldn't want anything less that like a .270 or 30-30. if it came down to it and i was starving and had to hunt a deer the smallest bullet i would use is 44 mag maybe, just maybe a 357 otherwise that bullet would be much better utilized for little varmint animals.

  • @snork707 so this would be a great gun for small game hunting?

  • @breezyatv90 9mm wouldnt be a the best round but it would work

  • @breezyatv90 There are SO many different calibers to choose from for deer hunting. 9mm Would be one of my last choices. And a Brand new HiPoint 995ts costs around $200 . You could easily pick up a a Bolt action .270 or a .243 for that price - - My concern with a 9mm, is that it may Penetrate, but its such a Low Velocity Round, that it wouldnt do as much internal Damage as a High Velocity round like the 2 I mentioned above. So for the Sake of Torturing a Deer, but a suitable Rifle.

  • @xtraflo but this would be perfect for varmits right? like coons, coyote, fox rabbit stuff like that?

  • @breezyatv90 Don't ever hunt deer with a 9mm. Completely unethical.

  • @breezyatv90 why the hell would u want to use this for deer... get a .44 magnum carbine if you want to shoot a pistol round at a deer out of a rifle

  • i really like this gun would buying the old generation of it for a hundred bucks be a good deal?

  • @samerjam101 Definitely! You can buy an upgrade kit to upgrade the old 995 "classic" to the new TS for $40 from Hi Point if you want to do that. Even if you don't though, the classic 995 is definitely worth $100!

  • if anybody here is on the fence about buying a hi point 995, they're great. A standard lifetime warranty and pretty decent reliability, not to mention a more tactical look. Get one. Just dont pay more than 2-300 (depends on what options you get)

  • i just ordered mine off the internet without bullets. what kind of bullets do they use?

  • @MyAssTasteLikeAcid Most any 9mm ammo works fine. I'd avoid shooting +P or +P+ through it though. Other than that any standard load should be fine. Hi-Point recommends avoiding Winchester White Box 9mm (I also recommend avoid that) because they have been known to have quality control problems.

  • @47MasoN47

Manual and hi point website says the carbine is rated for +P ammo. These aren't weak little things like the C9s.

+P+ is probably too hot, though.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl Oh that's cool. I had an old 995, so it may be different now. I haven't read the manual for one of those in quite a while. Thanks for the correction!

  • @infectedmetalhead777 This wasn't about accuracy, it was just showing how well the 995 functions. I'd do a long range shooting test but I no longer have this weapon.

  • man i already got the pistol now i need one of those for hunting..

  • Have you seen a larger capacity mag for the 4095 anywhere? I've heard they are out there but can't locate. Thanks

  • @Gunzshow55312 A few people have made them by welding mags together, but in most cases they end up breaking. The thin metal of the mags + a higher strength spring leads to breakage at the weld generally. I don't know of any factory-produced higher capacity mags for the 4095 though.

  • @Gunzshow55312 They are junk! Don't waste your money. They make a 15 round mag but they suck. Stick with the factory mags.

  • Nice to see more of this rifle. Mag changes on the fly is tough.

  • Watched the video and was pretty cool like the movement and positioning. And the camera instruction on camera was Funny!! I personally have a C9 and a 995TS with aftermarket larger clips. I absolutely love them both, just a note: the aftermarket clips don't insert as smoothly and the HP ones. I cringed each time they hit the ground(not good for the gun or clips). Create a better management process on your next video.. Bit cool overall..

  • damn i cant find these anywhere!!!!! :(

  • @urbanknight12 lol yeah when you wear a 14 its hard to find any that dont look that way :P

  • ROFL I those clown shoes :D lol good vid man

  • You looked pretty ridiculous doing that but I love the gun. I'm still debating on whether or not to get one cause I'm shipping to Basic in July

  • @CFLKS411 I still can't figure out why people love making fun of this video. Anyway it's are you thinking about getting the classic or the new TS? The TS trigger is better and it has the nice LRHO feature, as well as all the rails of course. I no longer have the 995 but I have a 4595TS and really enjoy it.

  • @47MasoN47 Im looking at the newer one with the rails or even the 45 version. Not sure if it is newer or older but Im assuming newer because its on every site ive been looking at.

  • @CFLKS411 Yep if it's got rails that'd be the TS. The 4595 (.45 ACP) is a lot of fun to shoot. Mine is real accurate and I haven't had any failures or problems at all with it. If you want you should visit HPs forums (hipointfirearmsforums[dot]com) for more information.

  • @47MasoN47 Cool, I have been hearing some bad things about it but it seems really reliable.

  • Very nice demonstration. I have to buy one of these when I can.

  • @NoobzTV For no more than they cost, you really should get one. They work just great for anything from plinking to home defense.

  • I just picked one up at Cabela's on sale for $225.

  • street value anyone? or should i buy from gunstore heard these dont cost that much

  • i was gonna comment about the video i just watched but apparently you just post comments talking shit on this vid .....damn i wish i was 12 again ; )

  • please tell me where u buy them. i want one!.

  • @IWiillPutYouInAGrave I got mine at a local gun store, but budsgunshop usually carries them online, or you can get one on gunbroker I'm sure!

  • @IWiillPutYouInAGrave I got mine at a local gun store, i paid 300 for the gun and a box of ammo. Its a reliable firearm for a very good price Id reccomend it to most anyone.

  • Comment removed

  • @xtenderfiddlesx i just ordered mine it cost 204$

  • Planet of the Apes gun > M16

The Ape nigger gun will win every time :/

  • Looks like a planet of the apes gun. Thats really fitting considering the end user they had in mind.

(this racist message provided by *responsible ape killers of america*)

  • A REAL MAN DOES NOT NEED HEARING PROTECTION FOR 9MM.

BTW, BOOOO TO 10 RND MAGS. 15 IS LOW TOO. THATS AMERICA FOR YOU!!! WANTS YOU TO HAVE AS FEW BULLETS AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE YOU MORE SEMI-READY FOR A FIREFIGHT.

  • I think the only comments I should add is try using windows movie maker - so you can cut out a few things, zoom, focus in on the target and do more fun videos. I think it was good and from the distance (about 35 yards) I feel that buying a 995 is a good buy. I went on here not sure if I wanted one - and you sold me on the 995. However - can anyone tell me if you can get them out to 200 yards? I heard the .45 you can...

  • @HiPointMan I just got one of their 4595TS carbines a couple of weeks ago :D

  • The people making fun of this video must be so called "EXPERTS". Lets see how many of them are gonna be left standing when there is a breakdown of society? At least the guy in the video is making himself proficient in the use of his firearms, and be prepared for such a day.

  • @pveg65 im making fun of this video and im not an expert

  • @FROSTBITE23 What do you keep coming back and commenting on this video for if you think it is so stupid?

  • @47MasoN47 on my home page it tells me when i have new comments, and i click the link showing me the replys

  • @FROSTBITE23 Oh that's cool

  • @pveg65 your just as stupid as the guy posting the video

  • @FROSTBITE23 Fuck You Too, hows that for stupid !

  • @pveg65 hows that for stupid? you call tTHAT training to be the "last one standing after the breakdown of society".....hows that for stupid? your fucking retarded, have fun getting raped by AR's with drum mags while you stand there deffensley with a 9mm rifle with a 10 rounder

  • @FROSTBITE23 GO STICK AN AR IN YOUR FUCKING ASS AND PULL THE TRIGGER!!!

  • @pveg65 LOL

  • how accurate is this gun at 100 yards or more? can you mount a scope or no?

  • @Peckerwood702 Well it depends on the ammo you use, but generally speaking you can expect between 6-10" groups at 100 yards. For 9mm, it's pretty good anyway.

Also, yes you can mount a scope. A rail is included with the gun that will replace the rear sight. You can also remove the front sight if it gets in the way of your scope.

  • wow dude your a fag

  • rickoshae gonna split yo wig fool. ha ha, good vid

  • wow...fucking retarded video

  • @FROSTBITE23 What did you expect? It shows exactly what the title says.

  • no i think loganandmccoy are two gay tards that butt fuck eachother while watching this video....

  • Everyone who makes fun of this video and the guy in it are a bunch of gay tards who butt fucks there dad

  • lolol damm i would like to see this guy in iraq

  • @TheBellhelicopterman

lololol I would like to see this guy make a useful comment.

Judging someone's combat worthiness by a plinking video is rather dumb. Also, I'm not a soldier and have had no training, so I have no desire to go to Iraq or anywhere in the middle east for that matter.

  • @TheBellhelicopterman hahahahaha i agree with you man for some reason when i watch this video it reminds me of some 30 year old guy who still lives with his mom and has no friends so he has his mom come out and vidoe tape him looking like an idiot i really hope he makes another video like it soon or i guess his mom. it makes for some great entertainment ....i couldnt stop laughing during and after this vidoe lmfao

  • @Lilweezyana6969 Firstly, if you have even handled a real weapon in your life, I hope you can do so with more skill than you can create YouTube comments. Maybe you meant to spam the same comment 5+ times, I dunno. You know what, never mind, I hope you do handle weapons as poorly as you comment. The world would have one less moron in it if you killed yourself with an accidental discharge.

  • @47MasoN47 well im pretty sure i have handled plenty of "real weapons" in my life seeing how i own those "real" weapons..fucking jack ass.im sure if you handle your "real weapons' like the fucking idiot you look like in this video you wont be around much longer to post any more gay ass videos of yourself looking like a retard shooting at a target that seems to keep moving away from were you keep moving closer to...or is it moving away from you! dumbass!

  • @Lilweezyana6969 The fact that you resorted to such a vast amount of swearing so quickly immediately tells me that you don't have enough intelligence for me to waste any more time on. Have a good night.

  • @47MasoN47 thats what i thought...you have a good night too...and dont forget to remind mommy to tuck you in and read you your bedtime story..

  • @Lilweezyana6969 LMFAO,..

  • full auto!

  • nice vid i love that weapon i have the same one.

  • Cabellas has a nice one with alot of tactical gear already on it for $250. I have seen basic ones online for $170, but those will need shipping/dealer fee depending on who you have it sent to.

  • I gave just over $180 for mine out the door, that was a few years ago though. The new TS ones are more expensive, but the stock is made better and it has the rails and stuff already on it. The TS also has LRHO, which is the main feature I wish my 995 classic had.

  • i want a cheap plinking gun but idk if i should buy this or not

  • That's mostly what I bought mine for. I was unable to find a plinking gun (other than .22s) for less than $200. I've got close to 1500 rounds through my 995 and have been very pleased with it. I've probably had 5 jams out of those 1500 rounds, and that was with crappy Winchester White Box 100 pack ammo. I've never had a jam with Remington or Blazer.

  • if u want a cheap plinker and cheap ammo for it go with a ruger 10/22

  • already have a ruger 10/22 dont want another 22. i want something that has has a little bit of punch and ammo is somewhat cheap.

  • Other than a .22 I'd say the 995 is the way to go, unless you want standard capacity mags, in which case the Kel Tec Sub 2000 is the way to go. I gave $380 for my S2k compared to $180 for my 995 though.

  • @hondamx518 you should i have the same but with a camo stock

  • looks accurate judging from the paper vibration..

  • It's easy to keep 10/10 rounds on the paper at 50 yards from the shoulder. Accurate light weight little carbine. People on the HPFF shoot theirs from a bench and can keep great groups even past 100 yards, which is pretty impressive for 9mm.

  • how do you install the sling that comes with it i couldn't find instructions anywhere and i'm not sure where to put the sling screws

  • slow and sloppy

  • My goal was not rapid fire, I was just shooting. Apparently all you know how to do is randomly spray from the hip. Stick to airsoft.

  • I Riged mine to make if full auto. kills a clip in about 1.5 seconds. and they thought it ate bullets as it is lol.

  • I don't think I'd be telling people about that... after the 1986 weapons ban, full autos can no longer be manufactured for civilian purchase, and you cannot convert existing weapons to full auto. That's a pretty hardcore felony if you get caught.

  • In addition, You can own a fully automatic weapon in the states legaly, you just need a permit.

  • You can own legal full autos that were registered in the USA prior to 1986, but unfortunately you will almost never see one for less than $10,000. There is a class 3 shop a few miles from here where you can purchase full autos if you have a Class 3 license, or if you pay the $200 for the tax stamp, but the guns must have been in the country before 1986 to be legal.

  • yea i heard if you get caught with a fully auto gun you get like 5 years for every bullet or somethin like that

  • Nice Vid man thanks for sharing.

Hows that 995 been working out for you man?

  • Thanks, I'll have another up soon from the same day :)

Shoot, I've put about 1500 rounds through mine and had 3 FTF that I can think of. I've used WWB, Blazer, Remington, and PMC ammo in it. I haven't cleaned it in I don't know when lol, and it still shoots like a champ! It's my favorite gun to shoot, best $180 I've ever spent!

  • lol i payed 340$ for mine +3 clips and 400 9mm.

Mine jams up alot too, im gonna have a freind check it out. it doesn't seem to matter if i clean it or not it just jams up here and there haha, glad to see yours is working good tho.

  • What brand of ammo are you using?

  • Good shootin.

    Get that stump!!!!!

  • Thanks haha! We dumped about 400 rounds of 9mm and .22 in it :P
