i like TLO's stratigy, but why a baneling nest, banelings aren't that effective against protoss. A roach warren or hydralisk den, or even a spire would have been better. And lastly TLO should have kept his zerglings back just to keep whitera guessing

Don't understand TLO's logic. Brilliant move to scare WhiteRa into thinking he was all in, in then which WhiteRa would prepare for. But TLO just throws his could-have-been macro advantage away by going all in anyways, in which WhiteRa was prepared for.  Simply put, TLO would have had a better shot by just going all in without the wasted 300 minerals at the other side of the map.

TLO shouldn't have sacrificed all of his lings. He had WhiteRa contained and with the opportunity to drone up like a madman. The lings should have been to scare WhiteRa and keep him in his base, not an all-in.

At any rate, this was an intense game. Kept me on my toes till the very end.

If he had a few more zerglings he could of morphed some banelings in and busted down the wall and maybe destroyed the base but probably not before WhiteRa gets reinforcements or scurries back. If you hide an expansion and convince your opponent you are 1 basing, it forces him to build a lot of units. If you then double expand, you make yourself VERY VERY WEAK versus the build you forced your opponent into.

Tricking your opponent into doing something is only useful if what you are tricking him into is not a direct counter to your own build.

@khanofmongols1234 Probably not. When whitera took is large warpgate army and inevitably went to check why the attack had never came, it's unlikely that the economy would have had time to turn into an army.

Mining workers need 40-50 seconds to pay for themselves, roughly. If you get attacked before then, they don't make your army larger at all. And that's AFTER they finish morphing. Plus, even if you get the extra minerals a minute after you start saturating, you still need time to spend them.

Reinforcements warping in from Aiur? If I remember correctly the Zerg ravaged Aiur in SC1, and in the BroodWar campaign the Protoss actually had to retreat to Shakuras, the planet of the Dark Templar. This is why they lost Aiur tech like: Reaver, Dragoon, Shuttle, Scout. Now they are using DT tech from Shakuras but correct me if I'm wrong.
