Victory is a nice bike. But just like harley WAY OVERPRICED! Are you kidding me. Get real. Mass production bike should never be more than $10k. Since when did bikes start to cost more than a bike.

@gdsmckrls they have a 100,000 mile warranty on the tranny and the engine is cheap to fix even if it does brake down is doesnt really matter.

@poserproductions1 yes if you are riding it for sure. Maybe they do have really good bikes, but they are really expensive and triump seems to offer powerful bikes for less.

@gdsmckrls Oh, i have never ridden a triumph, but i hear they are good bikes. honestly,, I know nothing about triumph bikes lol. I guess compare the statistics of both bikes along with the horsepower, price, and warrantees. then go ride them. thats the best way to decide

HD= fraternity ring. I'm not saying I will never own a Harley but just the way that brand and its afficianados operate makes me think of some sort of fraternity. I guess if I ever buy one I'll insist that they teach me the secret handshake. I'd like to have a Vic but the dealer is not close by and the Vic product line doesn't have quite what I'm looking for. I could be sensible & stick Japanese bikes but since when did getting bugs splattered on your teeth make any sense.

@VictoryAreMetricCrap Your name made me laugh. You do know that metric and imperial are just different ways of measuring the same distances, volumes, weights, etc, right? It's not like one motorcycle is republican and the other democrat, or one black and one white.

By the way, the imperial system (gallons, miles, pounds) was conceived by the British. If your criteria for quality is the system it uses, then your favorite brand should be Triumph.

I beat every harley that has ever dared to race my 2011 hammer. Theres no comparison and harley had to get someone else to make their motor cause all harley motors are junk

-I agree the hammer will smoke any harley on the strip except for the v-rod. That sucker does mid-11's on the quarter mile. I'd still rather have the Hammer, but the v-rod IS a beast on the drag strip.

Yes and this is one of the cause why i buy a Victory (Hammer) and not a Harley: here in Europe (except England who use both Imperial and metric), whe don't known and use this primitive inch tools or screws crap so that the maintenance from a Harley for ex. is much more expansive and complicated but need all "special material" difficul to find here...

And US system is needless complicated with this stupid inch fraction system...

I love Harley and plan on getting a Fat Boy or a Dyna Wide Glide but I will never be the blind fool you are and think the HD has anything superior to my metric bike.

I agree with most of the HD comments, with the exception of the V-ROD. The Vrod has been smoking every bike in this class for the last 10 years with that Porsche-engineered engine.

Lol, I considered buying a Rocker C....that was my first choice. I spoke the Harley salesman and he said, "Youre not buying just a bike, but a lifestyle".....WTF! I love my life, just wanted a good bike. I did more research, pound for pound, Vics beat HD hands down. I bought my 08 Vegas and it turns more heads than harleys. If you want to be part of the herd, buy a Harley. If you want better performance, power, and modern styling, buy a Vic.

What are they thinking in Minnesota? The Vic would look 1000x better if they got rid of those putrid government-like issued tank badges & replaced it with the classic, the very nice looking script tank badge. Or at least let the buyer have the option of customizing the tank with a script tank badge. The current badge looks okay though super bland & too uniform in nature. A script tank badge, though mass produced like the current badge, appeals to many, & looks a lil' like a tattoo. Wake up Vic!
