Yesssss, gonna replace my Optimus V with this. It's a good phone but the screen is going wonky and hits the wrong keys allllllll the time. Aggravates me to no end.

@TheGeorgenc40 No the slider will not support adobe flash. Needs to have ARM7 CPU. Only phone currently supports flash with VM is Triumph. I am very careful to say android versions number and app version numbers and no on pulling the video cause it has good info and the update did not fix the 64-bit issue... but... I will make a over lay on the video that Intercept had an update and to see videos posted with bench marks of intercept running 2.2.2 and how it compares currently. done already

Nice,.... but it's no different from LG Optimus V. The screen is the same (3.2-inch). I keep my LG Optimus V, it does free tethering. I will wait for LG Optimus Black
@mstechify haha yeah I can't do almost anything with my intercept....it gets me mad to much and now with all these new vm phones I am soo ready! I agree I like large screens too....that's why I like the triumph and I like it because it is a uo to par smartphone...unlike the intercept

@0317Stanley last night was the first night I have held the optimus v in a while, poor baby. I was running benchmarks to post for other video wildfire S. who flipping knew VM would press released 12 hrs after I finished putting it together calling around. anyways I can't and don't want to go back to a screen smaller then 4 inches even with the slow GPS lock. Optimus v felt like I was playing with a kids tea set, cute but not enough.
@0317Stanley If you have the optimus V DO NOT upgrade to the triumph. While it is faster, it is horribly lacking in functionality. Bad reception, bad GPS, unresponsive touchscreen, occasional resetting. I tried to upgrade, and ended up going back to Optimus V because it was more annoying than it was worth.
@0317Stanley not everybody has same experience (some can overlook slow GPS lock if they don't rely on GPS because of bigger screen, faster cpu and flash support) that is why I only recommend that if you want to try the Triumph only get from local retailer that will do a full refund in 30 days (Target does not just exchange for defect) best buy or radio shack. Triumph is a definite Love or Hate. That is why I titled that video for triumph Love or Hate.
@mstechify i did not say you gave optimus slider specs i said you gave specs on something that looks like the slider...and compared? The only thing to compare is the looks cause thats all we have....so then what was the point of telling specs on a phone that as we know of only LOOKS like the slider

VM announce today it will be postponing the 2.5 GB data cap untill 2012. VM also announce HTC Wildfire S will release Oct 23 for price of $199.99 and color depends on store. Also VM announce LG Optimus Slider will be released will be available Oct. 17 VMusa site for $199.99. The smartphone will be available Oct. 31 in Best Buy and RadioShack and Target Nov. 6.... @reddnmilla yes I agree, a smart move. They were due to have a more up to date slider qwerty but not over the specs of the Triumph. If you want snapdragon slider on prepaid go to boost at the samsung Transform Ultra with dual camera... almost same specs as the triumph with slider qwerty but only 3mp camera and 1gb internal memory same 512 RAM
