  • what's alternative for T bar row? I think I snapped some shit up today, did 4 set of T bar row my lower back is stiffed as fuck now!

  • Do you guys wear belts?

  • Spondylolisthesis

  • About the deadlift, i've been lifting for nearly 3 years now and the deadlift is one of my primary exersises. This enabled me to do shoulders en chest with more intensity due to the fact that my lower back is strong. But hey, that's just my opinion, love your videos though (y)

  • was doing some snap backs today and im pretty sure i messed up one of my disc. Good to know you guys have had the same problems and are still going strong, it probably isnt the end of my lifting life afterall!

  • this is the best video ever! I'm just 22 and I have the same problem. f**k!!

  • hahah good one...man why your backs even like that in the first place? genetics? im really all lean athletic and damn near your ages and my spine is fresh like it could be

  • got the same shit !!!

  • I have right hand wrist injury, happened one time when sparring with no gloves and my hand snap over, hurts very bad.

Doctor said I'll have this problem the rest of my life, can't cure it, while i only started my boxing career for 3 years.

Bench press more than 200lb will hurt my wrist, sometimes push-ups hurt too.

  • I love dead lifts!

  • i was having low back pains but started to do deadlifts and theres no pain now, so just dont overdo it on deadlifts

  • how you guys fuck up your backs in the first place ?

  • I love how they have trouble remembering their own back problems but know each others perfectly

  • The same thing happens to me too, when i lift too heavy my back got messed up and the next day it got fucking stiff on my ass, I be walking like I have a hump on my back.

  • Hey twins, how long should I go on my cutting phase?? You said that cutting my carbs low was dangerous long term, so what's long term? How many months can I go before I need to start getting carbs again?

  • CHUTUP!!!

  • I was looking up some workout INFO n found u guys like 2 days ago and I think I watched all ur videos already. Ur mortal kombat shits a trip!!!!!! U guys got the best catch phrases. Funny as Fuk!!! I would totally hangout with u 2 and get drunk just to watch u guys spit game at bitches!!!!! If a hoe turned u down youd be like "whatever bitcch Do whatever the FFFuk u wanna do!!"..... or if a b!tch was down you'd taker her back to the hotel n snap her shit up!!!! Fukn hilarious MAYN!!!!!

  • I'm 23 years old and I have a "minor"(what the doctor says) disc herniation. I've had it since I was 22. The pain was horrible, and still is on very cold days. Lifting weights strengthened up my back and core so much but like the twins I can't do squats and I never attempted deadlifting (I see guys at the gym do it and it just looks like disaster waiting to happen). One exercise that strengthened my lower back were back extensions. I used the machine first, which allowed me to do low weigh

  • dude im 16 and because f an injury on football i cant even do leg press...... for legs i can only do some leg extensions with low weight /cry

  • Thnx man im battleling bulging disk too. Its hard to work out. Ive been trying to strenthen my core first before i start lifting! Thnx though it makes me realise i can do it if i try hard enough.

  • Hodge twins are a bunch of annoying faggots

  • @911sanitarium you're just an annoying youtube troll. if you don't like them GTFO

  • @911sanitarium 911sanitatium doesn't want to build muscle.

  • @911sanitarium do whatever the fuck you wanna do

  • ADAPT OR DIE.

  • Hodge twins should be in a comedy/action movie.

  • snack some shit up man

  • I fucked my back. No herniations, but misalignment issues. I tried all the quacks, chiro's, osteo's etc. They're full of shit. Weights set me straight, and my back pain of several years is no more.

  • Hey man i got a question for twinmuscleworkout and anyone who reads this

i started lifting in 8th grade at the age of thirteen and benched 80lbs and weighed 120, now its 14 months later and i can bench 190lb and i weigh 149, is this average or would this be considered a genetic freak??

  • @zaynesladedu ya thats normal. Your probably a mesomorph and adapt to working out really easily. When I was in grade 10 I weighed 155lbs and benched 130lbs by grade 11 I weighed just under 190lbs and was benching 235lbs. Your blessed :)

  • @Rockman110886 Thanks Alot Man! im actually a ectomorph i think hehe

  • @zaynesladedu np man good luck with your working out :)

  • man i hav the exact same story as the guy on the left

  • man i worked out too much now i done snap some shit up in mah back! FUCK! lol

  • Deadlift's WILL snap your shit up!

  • im sorry u guys have to go through that shit , i respect the fact that u didn't give up , no one would ever know what it's like to have back pain unless they experienced it !

  • whats the point im confused ~_~

  • just keep up the fkn good work guys, keep it safe, keep it cool.

  • Lmao...so what exactly can you guys do?

  • I am currently keeping rest with my lower back, fucked it up with deadlifting to much to fast. Started out deadlifting about 7 weeks ago and started with 120 pounds orso had some great strenght gains first few weeks and got it up to 220 pounds then got stuck on that for 2 weeks and then last week I was able to do 242 and this week 264 and got to fucking greedy and tried 286 and after 5 lifts my back just didnt wanna do shit annymore and still soar as hell, stupid ass me >,<

  • @MaikelKarsbergen You snapped some shit up man.

  • @r44ng33d Yup :P

  • yeah man my l4/l5 was all messed up could barely stand for 5 minutes without hurting, had surgery in febuary and now im working for 8 hours a day and squating 135 for high reps probably going to stay there though lol but i also take about 5 advils a day lol cuz i still hurt sometimes but im run about two miles a day but should i stop squating? i didnt know it was so bad for your lower back but the leg press hurts my lower back more then squats

  • "yoked up outta my fuckin mind" not sure why that made me laugh so hard hahaha

  • I would give deadlifts a try also, but again, start with very low weights. I'm talking five pound dumbbells. Try to slowly increase the weight. Now, considering your conditions, you may never dlift or squat with very heavy weights, but your back may get strong enough to allow to do more movements with dumbbells and free-weights. If you not working your lower back at all, and are increasing your body weight, you're just asking for a disaster.

  • LOL, if you knew you a bad back, maybe you shouldn't have done 25 reps with 135. I don't know how severe your condition is, but it would have been better to start with just the bar or body-weight squats. Keep doing that until there's no pain the day after and what not. When/if there's no pain post -workout, up the weight but only by five pounds total. If you have a bad back before you put on 30 pounds of muscle, it can't be good now with 30 extra pounds of muscle

    to carry around.

  • maaaaaaaan I admire you guys with such fucked up bacls and still get motivated and all !!! Bravo guys !!!! Thank God I don't have any problems with joints, either knees or back or shoulders but I see you guys in higher ground than me !! Because if I had these kind of problems I'd give up and I'd be a sad guy :(

Keep the good work guys !!

  • 100% agree and empathize. Two herniated discs.

  • i gave up basketball for working out, it was snapping my shit up!

  • I'm 15 actually herniated a disc in my lower back about a year and a half ago well excruciating pain yes but I went to pt for a year and recovered and I got back in sports well coach made me do power clean and long story short I snapped all this shit up again and I'm going to finish my season out or try to at least but hurts like shit but on the plus side I get a massage three times a week from a hot ass chick trainer

  • @iwowjwow I got that same story man!!! But i snapped my shoulder all up...rehabbed a year...got back into rugby...snapped that shit up AGAIN and got physical therapy from a FINE honey for awhile...damn

  • I herniated my disc at 16 and had surgery at 17 for my L4/L5, I had to take like 3 months off from lifting, at 3 months I started to do simple things like cable exercises, curling machines, dips/pushups, around 6 months I resumed regular liftin, still stay away from squats/deadlifts tho, but to be honest I thought the recovery was amazing, I only needed pain meds my first 2 days then I was off em forever, tried PT and injections with no help, and your right about the pain, hope you stay healthy

  • Most guys would probably stop working out all together if they were as limited as you in the gym. Respect to both of you.

  • yo God bless you guys. yall are an insperation , not only are yall working around your injuries but also getting great results.

    thanks you guys

  • shut up! haaaaa yall a trip keep it up

  • best ending ever

  • 4:36 I spaced out to my tv and when I heard him say 'at the end of the day' it sparked a soundbite in my head so i looked for the fuck u wanna do, but alas too soon lol..

  • I watched this video 3 weeks after injuring my lower back power cleaning, but I got injured because I deadlifted the day before. FUCK DEADLIFTS!

  • That good Mann, yeah real good Mann !!__If I ever see "Jimmy Struther from up the street" ima knock his ass out !!!

  • loooooool, you 2 give me the most jokes man i swear!!!!

  • most low back problems / spasms occur because the low back is hypermobile / overused and "supported" by even weaker glutes. deadlifts fix ALL of that. but hey if you want a weak, fucked up low back and you don't want to fix it, then stay away from deadlifts. just advice though man...you can do what the FUCK YOU WANNA DO.

  • @ArCxlioN dont get buthurt man

  • @ArCxlioN sounds like their backs are to far gone for that they can't carry dumbbells

  • @ArCxlioN im 17 and deadlifts started giving me back problems. its a good workout but dont overdue it cuz it will snap your shit up!

  • @taylorgangorshit that's because your 17 and you haven't learnt how to do anything properly yet. including deadlifts.

  • @ArCxlioN dude theres too much risk involved with fucking dead lifts. Yes, they can be done correctly and if they are, then i can see how that would be good for your back. But anyone who is inexperienced with dead lifts and who is doing them unsupervised, is bound to fuck up their back.

  • Ya know I have a bad back too, but nothing like these guys, thats the last time I complain about my back, at least I can do squats and work with dumbbells lol.

  • How did you guys get bad backs??? :(

Also, does deadlifts screw up your back???? :(

  • Do a video on ClenButerol please

  • @skifur Are you serious??......really?? There is no way these guys are doing a review on Clen. That shit is dangerous as fuck. If your looking to get cut and shredded do it the old fashioned way by reducing your caloric intake and increasing your cardio. Clen will fuck your shit up man, I really hope you dont decide to take it.

  • @kbudh01 maybe @skifur just wants to hear the twins tell him how bad clen is. Besides, they've done reviews on prohormones and that will "fuck your shit up" too. Nothing wrong with the guy making a suggestion man

  • went to the gym the other day and saw this slim, cute as shit girl deadlifting her own weight from on a raised platform! i couldn't even concentrate on her tight ass i was so worried. i ended up going over to tell her " you don't need to be stand on a box, i'm scared for your lower back. i don't wanna be around when you SNAP some shit up!"

  • I forgot the name of the exercise, but I read an article saying that's it's bad for your lower-back. They mention that doing the Bird-Dog is a lot safer. I do that all the time now. To make it harder, buy some ankle weights or something.

  • Use squats with dumbbells wont effect ur back as much as a bar

  • I got a bad back too.its fucked up and im only 27 ill be.snaping some.shit up when im 30

    Deadlifts = dead back

  • what about belt for squats and other stuff ???

  • hahahah you guys rule.. best video so far.. funny as hell :D

  • 'i just got some fucked up .. ugh.. diss gera .. dis.... dis ggg.. get the fuck out the way i cant talk' HAHAHA

  • have you guys tryed yoga, physio therapy or regular stretching routine?

  • hi brothers, i Just snap some shit up in my wrist one week ago. i can't put a lot pressure on my wrist now... how can I workout to keep in shape while I recover.... Thanks :)

  • @hsiesimon you cant...snapped some shit up, now you gotta chill on it. two weeks, one min depending on your injury. Wear a brace, let it rest, do some cardio and cut your calories...might as well make it a cutting week bro.

  • Love your advice................ Can you do a video on your nutrition plan for a week. Thanks

  • i think deads are the best exercise.

  • @mjapoplawski no...power cleans

  • @kingcobbz good one! didn't even cross my mind. What about the snatch?

  • @mjapoplawski the snatch is good but i think its rather dangerous lol

  • @mjapoplawski

    For building strength, absolutely.

  • Do your one arm dumbell rows while lying on a bench to remove pressure on your backs, might help.

  • hahahahahahahaaha "every time i see a motherfu*ker doing squats, i wanna go out there and take a baseball bat and crack his ass right in his fucking back cuz i can't do them" hahahah this shit is funny. sorry bout you backs tho

  • That was the greatest "FUCK YOU WANNA DO" ever!

  • I got scoliosis, lifting helps so dang much, core power is the key to everything (squats help) :)

  • Deadlifts are one of the best exercises there are, how can you discredit them?

  • can you still do deadlifts? or do you guys not do deadlifts? they are better than squats ive heard.

  • @GreenBeretSF i think deads are worse on your lower back then squats

  • @mjapoplawski deads are less stressful on your spine than squats.

  • you should do a video on your workout splits

  • to anyone tht is a bodybuilder, ur situation is fucked up yo, no dumbells and shit,no squat, fuck tht shit, i feel bad for u guys

  • can you guys do a vid on training alone vs training with a partner

  • Can anyone give me any tips on how to get my bodyfat down faster !! im eating right and workingout every second day but my abs still arnt showing as good as i want them too.......

  • @codmastermindgrant lower calories and carbs and do cardio!

  • @codmastermindgrant How many calories are you eating a day and how far under maintenance are you?

  • @codmastermindgrant Who gives a fuck about abs showing? You probably went them for girls, right? As long as you've got a decent midsection, you can get all the girls you want as long as you're physically dominant. Get some endurance training in (pull ups, pushups, burpees/squat thrusts) instead of cardio and you're set.

  • I'm really having a hard time losing my belly right now, but I get really motivated every time I watch your videos. You really know to educate and entertain people. You guys are the best.

  • Hey man.... can you do a review on "MRI anabolic switch" man?.. has 7 creatines man..

  • those look backs at he start are cool man... your bro gets hell frustrated

  • Yeh I am with you with the bad backs my spline is crooked I look normal but I get that why you walking sexy. Bitch my walk is normal for me. I don't have a choice. No bodies perfect.

  • haha what irony both of them have the same fuckin condition, 6:33 "eventually i'm gonna have to get surgury," "eventually im gonna have to get surgury." "im putting that shit off though," "im putting that shit off."

  • does he mean 9 or 10 plates on the leg press on one side or split between each side

  • The fucked up thing about squats but mainly deadlifts is that deep into your set you start getting loose form and when you train for failure , your form is at its worse and bang you snap your shit up.

  • ok, but how did you fucked it up?

  • Hey twins muscle and fitness mag did a new mass gain plan in their newest issue, just wondering if you can do a review of it, it looks like a good plan... Someone at muscle and fitness been watching twin muscle workout cause it has alot of the tips you guys give...

  • Everytime I deadlift my lower back gets scrambled the next morning, even with a belt and light weights.

  • @f350powerstroke me too man, even with good form. While I'm lifting though my back feels rock solid and strong... confused

  • 1:27 FAIL

  • You guys are legendary for having a body like that with backs like that, damn, mad props

  • I feel ya guys,im in uk,had a MRI,got same problem as you guys, seeing surgeion soon to discuss an op or epidural.

Anyway yeah cant squat, deadlift, barbell rows etc etc,can still use dumbells i just lie down first and a spotter hands me the dumbells, just work round it guys, anyway its just advice :)

    you guys rock

  • "Fucked up diss..gerrr..diss...gggg...Fuck out the way i cant even talk" LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • I use a weightlifting belt, it works for me

  • Can i ask do you drink fresh rain water?I doupt it cause from the sounds of it you got fluoride poisoning from drinking tap water.Every thing you say is classic symptoms of fluoride degeneration in the joints but it can be reversed if you cut all fluoride for 2 weeks and stay of it.TRUST ME I HAD THE SAME SHIT and my nutritionist said GET OF FLUORIDE AND HEAL.and he was right. Also when you feel the tingles in your feet and your leg goes numb it means your real close to getting sciatica!!!

  • @stx106 ... Lmfao!

  • tell us the reason for the bad backs man, all i remember was that you guys said it was from an old marine core injury but that was all LET US KNOW lol

  • At the end of the day, you guys motivate me to keep going. So Keep up the good videos Homies.

    Kevin G.

  • snap, crackle, pop! snapped my shit up!

  • How come you guys don't do squats?

  • Well damn, you guys are falling apart. hahaha

  • my grandad can bench 500 pounds :P

  • how did you guys get that bad of back(like what exercises)? So we know how not to fuck our backs up.

  • hey mayne you just old ;)

  • 0:37 SHUT UP! lmao

  • How did you lot herniate your discs?

  • Holy fuck I have the same thing I'm 16 I had it operated on when I was 14 L4 l5 S1 is all fused it's some fucked up shit it's called spond-e-low-thes-thesis is how it's pronounced that shit sucks.

  • lmao

  • do you guys know what caused this back degeneration

  • [:-bd]

  • snap, crackle, pop SNAP MY SHIT UP

  • nice video dude.

my knee is making crunching noise. can i still do leg press n squats n dead lift?

is it safe to do so?

  • Very impressive physiques for how much you are limited, you guys could have been bodybuilders if yours backs were better.

  • Their backs are GIMP THE FUCK OUT!

  • why is dumbbell the best exercise?

  • @ferigigi dumbbells/barbells are the best because they require you to balance the weight which uses the secondary muscles. Most machines do the balancing for you

  • @roxgod666

lol, that's for shure, I actually thought about barbell vs. dumbbells :D

  • @roxgod666 dumbbells are helpful if one side of your body is stronger than the other and some people say dumbbells are better for people with joint pain

  • I've got that same shit, spondylolisthesis "spon-dee-lole-is-thee-sis" at L5-S1 with a fracture in S1.

A lot of people get these problems from a congenital pars defect (born with an incomplete pars interarticularis which basically holds your shit together) or a later pars fracture. It causes the whole of the rest of your spine to slip off your sacrum (part of your pelvis) and you lean forward a bit.

I can't do deadlifts and all my overhead lifts have to be seated or I snap my shit up. too.

  • I have broken a bunch of bones, had a couple of surgeries and had a bunch of other serious injuries. I recovered 100% in no time. I thought I was made out of armor and nails. Then I hurt my lower back 4 years ago. Every day it hurts. The fuckin thing never gets better. Its not like other injuries.

  • And still you are some huge guys. just imagine if you guys didnt have messed up backs

  • well... even though you have messed up lower backs you still make good progress.

  • I've had 7 contorted discs, 1 torn disc... and I'm only 15... When I first had it I was bedridden for 4 months... that got me massive weight gain, which is why I go gym now haha.

  • talk about identical ... similar injuries even...

  • @lloyd011721 That means it was probably congenital (they were born with it and share genetic predisposition to the injury). Spondylolysis is one of the most common back problems and is seen in football players, gymnasts, martial artists, etc.

  • Comment removed

  • i don't got back injury but i injured my left hip flexor when doing warm-ups with 175lbs so i haven't done any squats for 3 weeks now but i can do lunges without any pain and then i just follow that up with some leg extensions and leg curls until i heal, ill actually will try to do light squats tomorrow with 175 on the bar and will see if it healed or not but i don't feel the pain anymore in everyday stuff like before i could't even lay on my left side.

  • Ey man!

  • i have back problems too but i'm 19

  • @562ole do you agree with them about dead lifts?

  • lol

  • i havnt even watched ths video yet but i seen lower back and i thought theres gonna be alota "snap some shit up" in this video lol

  • It's LOWER not LOW.

  • @SoooBlue

    Sorry,

    BITCH!

  • you should try inverted rows for your back too. it works your upper back more than normal pull ups do. good luck with your back

  • man deadlifts are better than squats, most intense thing you can do. I know it's just advice though :)

  • you guys seen that paralyzed bodybuilder on bodybuildingdotcom? amazing story
