we should have a republican like him in office. Lets just ask him if we can end the obama administration and then get rid every communist, fascist, and corrupt corporation owner that tries to take over our country. Marco Rubio for 2012!!!
Hey hardcorenyc, 94% of blacks voted for Obama. By your standards they're racists too. When John Kennedy ran for president even conservatives voted for him just because he was Catholic. That's just the nature of the beast. Great thing that Rubio is hispanic, since hispanics will be the majority in this country soon - just about the time he'll probably run for president. That is, if there is even a US left since Obama seems dead set on destroying it.
Oh, the son of exiles. Get out the Kleenex. Can't wait to back to the Bush #1 & #2 policies that "killed jobs." Wake up America. The train wreck policies of the right wing will get us no where. I love how 60% of his votes were Hispanic, Hispanics never vote republican so this clearly shows how racist Hispanics are & all they care about is them selves! Amnesty! Lmao!

We let them fire people for using the word "niggardly." We let them wield the race card indiscriminately. We let them control the narrative of almost every story and debate. Conservatives have let the most depraved members of our society take control. America isn't America anymore, but we can fix it

@mhamil973 Actually, Obama defrauded Medicare. The Health Care Reform Bill signed into law by President Obama uses $500 Billion in stolen Medicare funds to pay for his new entitlement. People should not have to depend on Medicare. I am young and I do not want it. Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security all cost $100 Trillion in unfunded liabilities. What has Marco Rubio done to the tune of $500 billion? Nothing. Typical liberal talking points.
@mhamil973 Actually, Obama defrauded Medicare. The Health Care Reform Bill signed into law by President Obama uses $500 Billion in stolen Medicare funds to pay for his new entitlement. People should not have to depend on Medicare.
@LLORT3 When was the last time you or someone you know was hired by a member of the poor or middle class? We can have job creation or we can have class warfare. Time to choose.
the tax cuts for the rich does not affect business income, only personal income. as we have seen from the failed policies of the past administration the rich hold onto their money they do not hire more when given the opportunity
i think instead of waiting for the rich to be altruistic the govt must give money back to main street and take it from the super rich if they have to, it's our money at the end of the day anyway
@LLORT3 your statement - "the tax cuts for the rich does not affect business income, only personal income." - reflects poorly on your understanding of the small businesses which account for most potential job creation. Since the majority of small businesses are either sole proprietorships or subchapter S corporations, for these entities there is virtually no distinction between business earnings and the personal earnings of the owners. Failure to understand facts like these hurts everyone.
you only have it half right; small business owners, well most of them, have less than 250k annual personal income, so the majority of them will not be taxed at a higher rate.
all obama wants to do is raise the tax rate for the richest people. if there are small businesses that are hoarding money it is their own fault for not using it to hire people.
@LLORT3 It doesn't really matter why a business owner is reticent to hire, the bottom line is that if he won't hire then the people will go without jobs. It is not just taxes but rather the overall climate of uncertainty and this president's stated goal to "spread the wealth around" that is adding drastically to the problem. If you really believe that wealth redistribution creates prosperity then good luck to you.
cool, well i don't think the president has spread the wealth around, unless you call bailing out the ultrarich on wall street spreading the wealth.
personally i hope he gets his head on straight and stops this trickle down bullshit. by spreading the wealth we socialists mean taking it from the rich and giving it to the poor.
@LLORT3 Anyone who has seen a satellite photo of the Korean peninsula taken at night can plainly see how well socialism works. Redistribution always, ALWAYS destroys prosperity. So the theory sounds good to some. It just never works out the way you plan. In the end socialism always creates a tiny powerful elite who manage to take care of their needs and the vast majority suffer.
@LLORT3 As I'm sure you are aware, and as notable Finnish academics have pointed out, the Finnish collectivist mindset is not exportable. Voluntary collectivism will indeed work, as the Mennonites, Hutterites, etc. have demonstrated in this country. You are free to join them but you won't. What is happening in this country constitutes a kind of civil war between a radical elitist minority and a vast, ethnically and socially diverse working class.
@LLORT3 You may be right! The Tea Party Tax day protests, all those angry town hall meetings, Scott Brown sitting in Ted Kennedy's senate seat - why I must be massively delusional because I've imagined seeing all these things on all the news channels. Just this past July, in a deep psychotic hallucination I imagined I heard Robert Gibbs admit that the Democrats may lose control of the house in the upcoming midterms. Help! I can't find my Clorazil !
@LLORT3 the PPACA is about nothing more than redistribution of wealth. Even now its authors have abandoned all pretense that it will contain costs. In the end we all, socialists and capitalists alike will receive less and pay more for it. No free lunch. Not even confiscating ALL of the property of the "ultra rich" will solve the problem, as you well know.
You are right, America did not become great by accident. America became great because government 'got out of the way' and let people go about their business so long as another individual or their property was not harmed through force or fraud.
You are an attractive, well spoken charismatic person, but even you seem to fail to grasp that we do not seek to repeal "ObamaCare" merely to replace it with "BoehnerCare".
One more thing - all the talk so far has been "Get Meek out of the race so Crist can win - Anybody But Rubio!" Just wait two or three more weeks - it's going to change to "Get Crist out of the race so Meek can win!" Go Marco!!
Crist sealed his fate by stating twice in an interview he would have voted for Obamacare, then two hours later stating he "misspoke" and he meant to say he would have voted AGAINST it. That's not going to fly, jerk. Two hours probably isn't even your personal best fasted time for completely flipping on a position, is it? November is time to exterminate professional politicians like Charlie FlipFlop, willing to say anything depending on who's in front of him at the time.
Not all of us are ignorant. What got us out of the Great Depression was the enormous stimulus of WWII. Just like it is hard to justify insurance until you are the unlucky one, so is the stimulus. Bush started the stimulus in 2008 because he was a responsible statesman. I really stand with old time Republican values. Just tired of B.S. from my own party.
@floridagrandpa@floridagrandpa@floridagrandpa The question should not be only what got us out of the Great Depression but also why was the Great Depression so unusually long in the first place. The economists at UCLA concluded long ago that FDR's New Deal prolonged the Great Depression in the first place! Also Bush signed onto TARP which was an emergency plan to save financial organizations NOT a stimulus program!
@floridagrandpa Maybe you are talking about TARP, Grandpa. At the end of Bush's term they past TARP where he spent half & the other half was to be spent by Obama.
@CentrlFlagrl Bush started Tarp and a tax rebate. He also led the government both parties to spend over a trillion dollars on the wars we are fighting now all borrowed. Is that a stimulus? This is what makes me angry with our party leaders and politicians. They say one thing and do another.Old time Republicans are turning over in their graves.
Listen up Rubio. Quit calling for the repeal of health care reform. You know that we will not get the super majority this fall we need to overturn an Obama veto. We might get the other party to work with us to improve the reform. That is practical. If we do not some how increase demand for goods and service businesses will not hire additional people. Right now firms and banks are sitting on a huge pile of money. They need to be encourage to spend some of it.
@floridagrandpa I think many want to repeal health care. We don't need to get a super majority this fall, but it sure would be nice. Yet even with only a majority that's enough to allow Congress to stop the funding.
Markets create demand not stimulus, there simply won't be a consumer driven economy in a jobless recovery.
@CentrlFlagrl At last an intelligent response. Right now the middle class consumer is tapped out and cannot or will not spend to create demand. I would like to see corporate income tax abolished letting the full profit fall to the stock holders.Increase their marginal rates. Stock holders would then encourage the companies to spend their cash to build their business as that would not be tax and start creating demand which would start hiring.
@CentrlFlagrl Health care reform is here to stay. When Social Security and Medicare were enacted the same type of super charged rhetoric was spoken. After the average person figured out what it was about they loved those programs. They will eventually like health care reform too.It would be more profitable to add to the reform not try to abolish it. The reform was what our Party propose as an alternate to Hillary care. Opposition now is really all about power.
@floridagrandpa My father has already gotten the notice from his Cardiologist letting him know the test & procedures he previously had, won't be covered.
You can keep your own insurance? How does that work, when the bill STATES if your employer makes any changes to your plan , you LOSE that status. FACT! Cutting a half trillion out of Medicare that is 10's of trillions in debt already does NOTHING to make Medicare solvent, just common sense. No, my party didn't propose this as an alternative.
@floridagrandpa My father has already gotten the notice from his Cardiologist letting him know the test & procedures he previously had, won't be covered.

Listen up Rubio. I live in Florida and am a Republican super voter. If you want my vote quite stretching the truth.Taxes are at a sixty year low. If the Bush tax cuts expire we would return to the Clinton era tax rate a far cry from our highest tax rates. We cannot cut taxes with out cutting spending and expect to reduce our deficit. We need to increase taxes and cut spending to get our deficit under control.
@floridagrandpa the research is all right there every day, dipwad. 13-plus trillion debt that YOUR grandkids are on the hook for, GRANDPA CHARLIE CRIST. What other research is needed? Rubio knows what's needed to try to get America turned around, and that is getting tools like YOU, Mr. Crist out of the government.
Do you want the deficit stop and the national debt paid off? Well waving a wand will not get the job done. I do not know who has been more irresponsible the Democrats or Republicans. I would expect such behavior from Democrat politicians but not Republicans ones.House cleaning starts at home.
Marco Rubio will go very far in politics. He is living proof that the left's racist label of the GOP is a farce. Anytime the right makes headway with the American people while talking about conservative issues and morals that are historically American issues and morals, the left floats the race card.
@miturbinesdurti the RACE CARD! Amen! All white people are racists, right? That's the entire problem, WHITE PEOPLE! Kill us all and all the problems disappear! Because, after all, the blacks and mexicans all love each other and want to interbreed to fulfill obama's dream of replacing GOD ALMIGHTY with manmade utopia!
right?

We let them fire people for using the word "niggardly." We let them wield the race card indiscriminately. We let them control the narrative of almost every story and debate. Conservatives have let the most depraved members of our society take control. America isn't America anymore, but we can fix it

I am so happy to be a Florida resident - and Independent. I've watched Rubio for a couple months now, and he will certainly get my vote. Imagine him, Scott Brown, and more like them changing the Guard in DC. Folks like Rubio are my only hope that we can turn this country around. BTW - I plan to vote for the Democrat Alex Sink for governor - the Rep candidate Scott creeps me out. And Obama HAS to go.

@deanorep - Scott Brown is a RINO, just like McCain who welcomed him ot DC! Rubio is not like those two - he's endorsed by Jim DeMint - a true lone conservative in DC.

- The real marco rubio sunshine
mhamil973 1 year ago
@mhamil973 Actually, Obama defrauded Medicare. The Health Care Reform Bill signed into law by President Obama uses $500 Billion in stolen Medicare funds to pay for his new entitlement. People should not have to depend on Medicare. I am young and I do not want it. Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security all cost $100 Trillion in unfunded liabilities. What has Marco Rubio done to the tune of $500 billion? Nothing. Typical liberal talking points.

i think the bush tax cuts should only be extended for the poor and middle class
LLORT3 1 year ago
@LLORT3 When was the last time you or someone you know was hired by a member of the poor or middle class? We can have job creation or we can have class warfare. Time to choose.
benz2go 1 year ago
@benz2go
the tax cuts for the rich does not affect business income, only personal income. as we have seen from the failed policies of the past administration the rich hold onto their money they do not hire more when given the opportunity
i think instead of waiting for the rich to be altruistic the govt must give money back to main street and take it from the super rich if they have to, it's our money at the end of the day anyway
LLORT3 1 year ago
@LLORT3 your statement - "the tax cuts for the rich does not affect business income, only personal income." - reflects poorly on your understanding of the small businesses which account for most potential job creation. Since the majority of small businesses are either sole proprietorships or subchapter S corporations, for these entities there is virtually no distinction between business earnings and the personal earnings of the owners. Failure to understand facts like these hurts everyone.
benz2go 1 year ago
@benz2go
you only have it half right; small business owners, well most of them, have less than 250k annual personal income, so the majority of them will not be taxed at a higher rate.
all obama wants to do is raise the tax rate for the richest people. if there are small businesses that are hoarding money it is their own fault for not using it to hire people.
LLORT3 1 year ago
@LLORT3 It doesn't really matter why a business owner is reticent to hire, the bottom line is that if he won't hire then the people will go without jobs. It is not just taxes but rather the overall climate of uncertainty and this president's stated goal to "spread the wealth around" that is adding drastically to the problem. If you really believe that wealth redistribution creates prosperity then good luck to you.
benz2go 1 year ago
@benz2go
cool, well i don't think the president has spread the wealth around, unless you call bailing out the ultrarich on wall street spreading the wealth.
personally i hope he gets his head on straight and stops this trickle down bullshit. by spreading the wealth we socialists mean taking it from the rich and giving it to the poor.
LLORT3 1 year ago
@LLORT3 Anyone who has seen a satellite photo of the Korean peninsula taken at night can plainly see how well socialism works. Redistribution always, ALWAYS destroys prosperity. So the theory sounds good to some. It just never works out the way you plan. In the end socialism always creates a tiny powerful elite who manage to take care of their needs and the vast majority suffer.
benz2go 1 year ago
@benz2go
finland is also socialist and is arguably the best country in the world. :)
LLORT3 1 year ago
@LLORT3 As I'm sure you are aware, and as notable Finnish academics have pointed out, the Finnish collectivist mindset is not exportable. Voluntary collectivism will indeed work, as the Mennonites, Hutterites, etc. have demonstrated in this country. You are free to join them but you won't. What is happening in this country constitutes a kind of civil war between a radical elitist minority and a vast, ethnically and socially diverse working class.
benz2go 1 year ago
@benz2go
not really, that's all in your mind
LLORT3 1 year ago
@LLORT3 You may be right! The Tea Party Tax day protests, all those angry town hall meetings, Scott Brown sitting in Ted Kennedy's senate seat - why I must be massively delusional because I've imagined seeing all these things on all the news channels. Just this past July, in a deep psychotic hallucination I imagined I heard Robert Gibbs admit that the Democrats may lose control of the house in the upcoming midterms. Help! I can't find my Clorazil !
benz2go 1 year ago
@LLORT3 the PPACA is about nothing more than redistribution of wealth. Even now its authors have abandoned all pretense that it will contain costs. In the end we all, socialists and capitalists alike will receive less and pay more for it. No free lunch. Not even confiscating ALL of the property of the "ultra rich" will solve the problem, as you well know.

Dear Candidate Rubio:
You are right, America did not become great by accident. America became great because government 'got out of the way' and let people go about their business so long as another individual or their property was not harmed through force or fraud.
You are an attractive, well spoken charismatic person, but even you seem to fail to grasp that we do not seek to repeal "ObamaCare" merely to replace it with "BoehnerCare".
The solution is simple, get out of the way.

RUBIO 2010!
Texndoc 1 year ago 2
Not all of us are ignorant. What got us out of the Great Depression was the enormous stimulus of WWII. Just like it is hard to justify insurance until you are the unlucky one, so is the stimulus. Bush started the stimulus in 2008 because he was a responsible statesman. I really stand with old time Republican values. Just tired of B.S. from my own party.

dtpac 1 year ago
@floridagrandpa @floridagrandpa @floridagrandpa The question should not be only what got us out of the Great Depression but also why was the Great Depression so unusually long in the first place. The economists at UCLA concluded long ago that FDR's New Deal prolonged the Great Depression in the first place! Also Bush signed onto TARP which was an emergency plan to save financial organizations NOT a stimulus program!
benz2go 1 year ago
@floridagrandpa Maybe you are talking about TARP, Grandpa. At the end of Bush's term they past TARP where he spent half & the other half was to be spent by Obama.
CentrlFlagrl 1 year ago
@CentrlFlagrl Bush started Tarp and a tax rebate. He also led the government both parties to spend over a trillion dollars on the wars we are fighting now all borrowed. Is that a stimulus? This is what makes me angry with our party leaders and politicians. They say one thing and do another.Old time Republicans are turning over in their graves.
floridagrandpa 1 year ago
Listen up Rubio. Quit calling for the repeal of health care reform. You know that we will not get the super majority this fall we need to overturn an Obama veto. We might get the other party to work with us to improve the reform. That is practical. If we do not some how increase demand for goods and service businesses will not hire additional people. Right now firms and banks are sitting on a huge pile of money. They need to be encourage to spend some of it.
floridagrandpa 1 year ago
@floridagrandpa I think many want to repeal health care. We don't need to get a super majority this fall, but it sure would be nice. Yet even with only a majority that's enough to allow Congress to stop the funding.
Markets create demand not stimulus, there simply won't be a consumer driven economy in a jobless recovery.
CentrlFlagrl 1 year ago
@CentrlFlagrl At last an intelligent response. Right now the middle class consumer is tapped out and cannot or will not spend to create demand. I would like to see corporate income tax abolished letting the full profit fall to the stock holders.Increase their marginal rates. Stock holders would then encourage the companies to spend their cash to build their business as that would not be tax and start creating demand which would start hiring.
floridagrandpa 1 year ago
