  • How did I butcher your name so bad? lol

  • I feel about you vegabondseteve, like you felt about the musician :) You have a spot in Buffalo NY where you invited to dinner anytime. Cheers!

  • @msclvr2 Thank you!

  • For me it all started when I watched the movie "revolver" I bought it the dvd for 2 euros when I was in greece with a newspaper. This movie showed me how that my biggest enemy was inside my head. It's an amazing movie and I hope you can find it and watch it. Your ideas are great, my opinion though is that you need to be the perfect you, I think it's platitude to say anything else from my side

  • what do you listen to? steve..

  • @TheJuliusJT I have eclectic musical tastes. Just about everything.

  • interesting to hear your thoughts

  • I agree, and I disagree. lol

True, being honest about who you are is great, but trying for perfection brings immense tranquility.

Try to be perfect in everything, as the Samurai did, especailly in the simplest things.

Wash dishes by hand, one at a time, clean them until they are perfect, even if it takes you all day. The satisfaction that comes from that is very spiritual.

  • Agreed, this is very enjoyable to do 'at times'. But to try and do this all the time while living in the industrialized world is draining.

  • Draining is not the word I would use, but I know I don't have the time to enjoy the process. In our bust lives we need our dishwashers, but I can still meditate in its hum, lol

  • thanks for the videos it really help me find my inner self

  • Thank you for commenting.

  • Look what you've done Vagabond Steve...! Now You have exposed that recluse artist from Jamdeek and now we will all rush and buy his recording and buy his book. He will become a multimillionaire and super powerful icon. He will make the cover of Times magazine, appear on Oprah show and no longer live-in the closet...

  • T.Y. for the humorous comment.

  • wow loved the way you expressed how others "paint on your canvas". to be able to go along the world and having only your paint on the canvas is what its all about, don't sell out!

  • I'M more imperfect than YOU! ;-)

  • Funny, but likely not true. Just speak to my ex girlfriend.

  • you haven't seen my hair.

  • After watching several of your videos and listening to your views on things, I've come to realize things to help myself become a better person. However, I've also noticed something about you that you may not have realized. Out of the videos I've seen, you speak of the release that certain realizations bring to you. Do you live your life trying to get that next release? If so, then you would driven by a desire for that. This may be an addiction on your part. I thought I'd point that out. Thanks.

  • Interesting observation. My desire is too strip away all that is not me. Some desires are burdensome & other desires are liberating. For example the desire to eat healthy, love others, exercise, awaken spiritually, etc. I'm conscious in choosing my desires because they become my taskmasters.

  • Great comments and nice to meet others who share the REAL FLUTE/REAL MUSIC/REAL LIFE approach.

    -Nina

  • Nina, thank you for sharing the beauty of imperfection.

  • don Juan speaks of the warrior's acts and points to not caring about the outcome. In other words, perceived "imperfections" are of no concern whatsoever. The warrior simply acts and the outcome doesn't buoy him or defeat him. Something like that. Blessings, Steve.

  • Great wisdom, thank you!

  • You would laugh.. . whenever something crappy happens to my mom... she always grins and says ... Well Lucky Me! hahaha I guess if we pray for patience.. the Divine will give us a traffic jam or a long line at the grocery store.. otherwise how else would we have the opportunity to practice it. haha

    Have an infectious day.

  • Accepting imperfection.... what a breath of fresh air. Such liberation. Thank you Steve for your insights ... they resonate strongly with my soul! Cudos to you for putting yourself out there and sharing. Such fantastic reminders when you need to presence yourself after being caught up in the whirlwind called life and the sickness of the human mind. Once again, merci beacoup!!!! May you enjoy the isness of each moment and liv liv liv.

    Sincerely SooZIE

  • Thank you for your support & comments.

  • Boy I like your solo freeform satsags vagabond. I've commented on your Tolle and guy-in-a-car-while-it's-raining vids before.

You've got a light and it's inspiring. THank you.

  • Thank you for your heartfelt words.

  • I discovered Tolle 3 years ago around the time that I briefly, profoundly discovered my true self. I found your videos while searching Tolle. This is the 3rd video that you have posted that I've viewed and it gave me chills. I will continue to watch them and hope that I reveal my true self as you are doing. Thank You

  • Thank you for watching. It's inspirational to read your comment.

  • That's so true. I really feel inspired by the things you say. And it feels like you say the things from a very positive point of view!

You could also say that the western society became very ill... But, I guess you have faith in human nature or maybe in our souls or the light behind it...

Anyway, I really enjoy watching your video's!

(I'm sorry about my English, it's not perfect too ;)

  • Well said. Thank you!

  • Very true words Steve. It is hard to avoid being influenced by values, pressures and ideas from your parents, friends or society in general. Little alternative information is reaching the public, that makes it difficult to go a different path. It is not easy to find support. For this reason it is very nice to watch your videos here. It gives my way a feeling of rightness and helps me to realize that there are people out there who think differently. Thanks.

  • Thank you. Truth is hard to find. Thank God for the internet. There are many of us out here in cyberspace.

  • Perfection as we imagine it has existence only in the mind as a concept. This is why no one can ever be perfect, because you could always be "more perfect." Real perfection is simply allowing your talents and skills to be put to use to the best of your abilities, and not worrying about living up to an imaginary standard. History itself has shown that sometimes the most awkward, seemingly imperfect pattens turn out to be the most profound evolutionary breakthroughs.

  • Beautiful words. Thank you!

  • I love your thinking that living is a work of art. If you have that in mind every day and take control over your way to paint your life, you can paint love in evey moment.

    Thank you!

  • "People are people and we live for our own. Live how you think not by what you've been told."

lyrics by Justin Nozuka check him out Steve :)

  • nice work :)

and yes... you are just perfect in your 'imperfectness' :) we all are !!!

    thank you

    perfect respect ;)

  • Again Steve, you make me smile. Connection is a rare thing. Strange, cause everyone is amazing.

Till very very soon, on vid ;-)

    Warmth

    Annet

  • I'll say it again and again you bring out what I search about most in this world today, which is authenticity, realness, true living. The state of being that cannot make you go wrong. It is also not about being impromptu nor imperfect, but mostly about being real, and spontaneously true to who we infact truly are. That's what makes this world shine! Hello!

  • Yes!

  • Great video. I think imperfections just make people real. I prefer imperfections over perfection any day. I think you're right that people are too concerned about what they do for a living and earning money these days. I think people have lost true values in life these days. People have forgotten to appreciate the small things in life.

  • Fantastic!

  • Your fantastic. Thank you for sharing your light with me.
