god dang- after watching this little man perform all those defense moves, the person that tries to rob him ought to be ready to pay his tail to quit whooping on him....
professor vee tought the great moses powell and my teacher as well profesor Danel tores this man was giong to teach bruce before he died i would have loved to study with the this master!!!!!!
I don't see it .I respect the man but I don't see this as anything exceptional at all.very basic .What happened to Rick Hernandez?IMHO the only one who evolved the art .
This all is great. But how about Bruce Lee's JitKunDo? It was created for implementing in any situation without attachment to particular fighting style. Can it be called universal martial art?
Thank you so much for this video. Im a Veejitsu ryu student, here in Mexico. It´s my sensei (8th dan) own version of Veejitsu classic techniques plus shotokan karate. But, its always good to see where the art comes from, Prof, Vee rocks.
If you search this art's history, you'll find that it's founder Moses Powell Learned Jujutsu from Professor Florendo Visitacion who studied Small Circle Jujutsu under Professor Wally Jay (its founder) who learned Judo & Jujutsu from Dan Zan Ryu Jujutsu Founder Henry Okazaki who was the first to introduce Jujutsu to americans. if you trace most of the Arts like Vee-Jitsu, Sanuces, & lots of other Martial Arts Systems, you'll find they Spawned From Okazaki's System.
I love this sort of stuff. I myself do MMA, I do Muay Thai and BJJ as seperate arts too. In Muay Thai (if you study with someone who really knows their stuff) you get a fair amount of technqiues that are probably implemented into self defence courses like these, and to be honest, they are my favourite techniques. I'd love to study Arnis and other FMAs, because I love "mixing it up", as the more you know, the better.
cant agree with you more alot of people spend time bashing old school traditional martial arts forgetting that modern styles like kravmagga borrow from traditional styles like jiujitsu muay thai and wingchun
Very true, but it is not like I'm expressing favouritism in just one technique, I'm expressing favouritsm in a number of techniques. And when I'm in combat or sparring I use what is best suited to the situation, however, if I get to use techniques I love I will always do them better. I'm not exclusively using one technique. It's a good philosophy, but is not really applicable here.
An International Treasure Supreme Grandmaster Florendo Visitacion. Prof. Vee's humbleness, meekness, character, was unquestionable, unmatchable for those of us that were blessed to have known him. Our loss Heaven's gain.
a great example of someone who did his own thing, created a modern defense system from traditional martial arts, that didn't lose the respect, honesty, integrity, and responsibility that comes with such knowledge.

Prof. Vee was a genius, one of the most dangerous men to ever live on the planet earth. A supreme but yet humble teacher.
