Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers did the original. This was a remake. "Salt Of The Earth" was the title of the original album. This version is very good, don't get me wrong. The original had a slower tempo and the opening was funky. This version here sounds more the way you may here it if they had played it "LIVE". If you know what I mean ?
