i kinda wish we stayed at continental... i like the rock and how its in newark but i think continental's more of a hockey place... the rock is not as vintage
i was wachin the end uv the second period and it wuz 6-3 so i thought they were guna loose nd i took a shower and wen i cum owt uv the shower its 6-5 with a minute left 2 go and giota scores like 20 seconds later
i remember this game... i was watching it think they were gonna lose. then brian gionta got the hat trick and tied the game and the devils ended up winning. it was such a good game..
Boston College Represent! Gionta is the man. He used to own us all in hockey back in the day... new he would make NHL first time i saw him play hockey. glad he made it to the devils.
A natural hat trick is when one player scores 3 goals in a row without any other goals scored by either team, it can happen any time in the game. Not in just the first period.
No, three consecutive goals at any point. Some people will call it a natural hat trick if the other team scores in between your three goals, but that is incorrect, too.
No, it was the opposite and were were on the road. We were down by 4 and they kept saying how great a comeback it was just behind LA kings coming back in the 3rd from 4 goals. We lost in overtime and I speciifically remember that game. I would know, I cried myself to sleep that day. :(
Dude, I am looking at the boxscore. The boxscore for the game shows that the Leafs were up 6-3 going into the third. It will not look right, but I will copy it here.
1st Period New Jersey 10:43, John Madden 1 Toronto 15:45, Jeff O'Neill 1 (power play)
2nd Period Toronto 1:13, Matthew Stajan 2 New Jersey 3:30, John Madden 2 Toronto 3:50, Matthew Stajan 3 Toronto 4:38, Chad Kilger 3 New Jersey 5:25, Sergei Brylin 1 Toronto 8:45, Darcy Tucker 4 Toronto 14:48, Alexei Ponikarovsky 2 3rd Period New Jersey 6:29, Brian Gionta 1 New Jersey 14:19, Brian Gionta 2 New Jersey 19:22, Brian Gionta 3
dude they won that game. and they were down 6-3 going into the 3rd. i remember because everyone else in my house was asleep and i couldnt cheer cuz i would have woken then up.

thats not a natural hat trick. a natural hat trick is when you score 3 goals in the 1st period

The Leafs were down by 4 heading to the 3rd and completed a very unprobable comeback. Nice try though. ;)

I think you got it backwards, dude. The Devils were down 6-3 going into the third.

I thought you meant the playoffs. My fault I remember that game Aubin was in net, not hard to find out when Raycroft plays the other 72 lol.

Mine, too, and for a good reason. The only reason I didn't change the channel was because I was sick as hell and didn't want to find the remote.
