  • "I've seen the bottom and I've been on top, but mostly I lived in between....."

...and where do you go when you get to the end of your dream?"

Words to live by, Dan. RIP old friend.

    peace

  • I couldn't agree more. I so love people that get this!

  • This was my theme song when I moved to Switzerland from Florida in 1979. I met Dan the night before his Lauderdale concert in 1984. On invite, I met him by the pool bar the next day with my girlfriend. I lent him my girlfriend for an erotic swim and he upgrade our seats that night to front row middle. He said that he did not play this song in concerts but he did that night and dedicated it to us. He had a peaceful soul and was genuinely interested in people he met. RIP music master.

  • ...Dan now sings from this (netherlands) place that our spirits listens and longs for...

  • This song was the one that caught my attention with regard to Dan Fogelberg. I am ever so glad it did. It swept me up into the air and carried me to the Netherlands in some way. There was such a softness yet fullness to so much of his music. There was something he seemed to "get" that he put into words and notes and then shared with us. Heavenly wings? Hard to think of him being gone. You think the angels get tired of one of their own being away too long?

  • I would like to dedicate this song to my husbands cousin who took his own life a year ago. He was in so much pain when he got divorced and was crying out for help. RIP Dear Dave.

  • Dan Fogelberg was one of the first singers that I listened to who told a story with the lyrics of his songs... This is the first song of his I ever heard. He inspired me in so many ways. R.I.P. everytime we play one of your songs now, you still live in our hearts forever.

  • A UK Christmas 2009 when I first ever heard of " Dan Fogelberg" and his songs, and I am now 64 yrs of age. Oh what I have missed all these years. Now I have nearly all his Albums on CDs. He was truly a genius. R.I.P Dan Fogelberg and God Bless to all his love ones........

  • Its so lovely.

  • Soul stirring... spine tingling... goosebumps...

Simply an amazing artist who left us all precious gifts like this one.

    Thank you Dan... thank you.

  • From the first time I had heard this song it has been my anthem. Whenever I go backpacking I play this song on the way and as I put my pack on . The song stays on my mind the whole trip. It is also great because there is always someone who has never heard it before and they all love it. I have all Dans albums, bought them as Albums, 8 tracks , cassette tapes, and Cd's and I still have them all .And I am proud to have an Album and Cd with his autographs on them they are my treasures from him al

  • I remember hearing this and buying the single, this version being from the album is much extended. It was never a hit, who knows why, a beautiful song with matching lyrics.

  • 2011 - i discovered this song .. i play it everyday ,,every morning,it is like HEAVEN would be..i love it!!

    rip DAN

  • Never heard this song before.. I love this!!

You must be real musical genius to write lyrics like that.. Brilliant!!!

  • i dont know how to post here BUT this is my favorite song EVER<<< it is like heaven --2011 ---i post this

    rip DAN!!!

  • 10 years ago I discussed this with with my dad.

Just what is the fork in the road? Killing oneself or just living with depression?

Always wanted to know. Dad is gone now but the debate goes on in my simple mind.

  • so, if i turn out the lights, play this song, and fumble for my cigarettes, can i call that an "orchestral manoeuvre in the dark?" [crickets chirp]

  • It's funny....i really never understood...

I was only 17 what did I really know...

I looked at those chocolate eyes but I was so young. It took me 33 more years and I

Found what I needed and wanted.

Truffle colored eyes .... Thank you Dan

For trying to explain it to me...

You are missed. You were a gentlman.

  • RIP Dan, I love you!!!!! Your music will always rock and be with me!! It has really touched my heart!

  • not many have the talent to move people with music like Dan. Gone to soon RIP

  • Netherlands was my introduction to Dan's breathtaking music so many years ago. His music and beautiful soul was a gift to us all . Thanks for being such a part of my soundtrack of life. Peace to you Dan.

  • When I was a young girl, I learned that Music was my best friend ! And Dan's songs have always been a part of me. This is the first song that I had ever heard from him! To this day it is in my Heart! I miss his music, but will never stop listening, forever! Dan you will be missed! I was one of the lucky ones to be able to see you live, at the Britt in Jacksonville, Oregon with just your guitar and piano!!!! AWESOME, I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT A GREAT CONCERT YOU DID!!! LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!

  • i heard dan fogelberg for the first time in 1975 when i was 11. this album. it was p.a.m. (parent approved music) in our house. i saw him in concert 4 times. he left us far too early.

  • While alot of folks miss Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix and Michael Jackson. I personally miss Jim Croce, John Denver and Dan Fogelberg. The best singer/song writers EVER!

  • THEE perfect song. Dan pours his heart out, about the home he loved best: his Nether Lands. I can close my eyes, crank this volume as high as I can get it, and i AM RIGHT THERE WITH HIM ... soaring ... over a mountaintop, covered with a fresh layer of snow, as a brisk morning breeze blows in my face, and the sun begins peeking through trees, warming my face. Ahhhh .... I am THERE.

Thank you, Dan. I always wanted to fly! We miss you, be sure of that. You defined my teens, and I thank you.

  • Me too, I've played this CD (and others of Dan's) over and over and over since it first came out and I still love it. This was the music I grew up on, I was lucky to be into guitar and meet some folks when I was 15 that turned me onto good stuff like this way back then. Also Shawn Phillips has some beautiful music that didn't get played enough. He played a hella guitar also.

  • what a great song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My absolute favorite song ever ! I can't even begin to tell you how this song has effected my life in sooo many ways ! It just doesn't get better than this....

May Dan live on thru his music forever &

    May you rest in peace....

    Danfan forever<3 Bonnie Freed Balakoff

  • How can anyone not be uplifted and taken to a higher level when listening to this. Dan's ability to touch your soul is unbounded in all of his work, but this is most definitely his masterpiece. Hauntingly beautiful, magically woven and above all sheer genius.

  • Wow...this certainly takes me back. His music saved me from the daily insanity of my childhood. Thank you for allowing me to cry and hopefully heal a bit more tonight...

  • @angeldarknesslight I love this song..I first heard it in 1977 when a buddy of mine lent me his eight track tape of the album.I was in the Marines at the time, stationed in Hawaii.I think this is his all time best composition. While not knowing the particulars of the insanity of your childhood,I can tell you that you were not the lone ranger. My record collection and a lock on my door kept me sane during my childhood and adolescence..This is his BEST !!!!!!

  • Great song, great orchestration, though the quality of the recording is lacking by today's standards. The balance of voice to instruments isn't the best and I had to go online to find the lyrics because they get lost here. Still, having said that, it's a great song that I didn't know. The lyrics are a bit of a puzzle at the end. The choice between accepting life and the choice of sweet piece is confusing and open to interpretation. Accepting life and what it brings can bring sweet peace too.

  • This song is like my own personal anthem.... and it is played often when I am at a crossroads in my own life... so beautiful.. the words... the music... the 'soaringness' of it all....

  • Good for you VintageGarden. May your wings never touch the ground.

  • I only looked up Dan Fogelberg today when I came in touch again with a friend that I hadn't spoken too since 1975. She live in the US and was/is a great fan of Dan. I never knew he died and at such a young age!! I live in the Netherlands - Europe and I am particularly moved by this song....

    Longer than.... RIP Dan

    Anita

  • My older sister brought this album home from college in 78-I, the punky lil sister, fell in love with this song-the arrangement (which is mostly all Dan) is magical..Needless to say, I wore out 3 lps and on my 2nd cd.I play this song to all the ppl. that come into my life-sort of a "pay-it-forward" if you will. I have requested this song at my funeral (God-forbid) but it is known to all that are important in my life-ty Dan, you are missed Brother!!!!!!

  • I remember seeing in concert and playing this song at UNH - Durham, NH in 1979 or '80. I was totally hooked on Dan Fogelberg from then on...still am some 30 years later...What a beautiful man he was.

  • Such a great song-another favorite of mine-Dan Fogelberg was such a great poet and lyricist-one of his best!!

  • Still one of the first Fogelberg songs I heard and fell in love with! Greta combination of classical and rock.

  • ...Dan sings of the place our spirit searches for...

  • This is such a gorgeous song with an interlude that reminds me of Aaron Copeland's work. Dan was such a truly gifted fellow.

  • you should put all Dan's songs from Netherlands on...all were great and memorable!

  • David Duke favortie song

  • @skanktimonious MOOKY you can't and never will understand anything more than the title of this song ..sorry nothing personal

  • Bittersweet memories......

  • what happened to "False Faces"?

  • I will be playing this during communion at my dearly loved Dad's funeral.

We listened to it driving out of Yosemite. My favorite Dan to add to our love of nature.

.."when I made my decision, my vision became my release". God rest the soul of Dan. We miss you. You helping my father rise up as well.

  • "Like the songs that the darkness composes to worship the light" - my favorite Fogelberg lyric of all time. This is an amazing, amazing song.

  • this will be played at my funeral...

  • me too!!!!

  • me too...says it all does it not?

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • god rest his soul. what a great songwriter.

  • Let's all stay there for a while longer.

"Where do you go when you get to the end of your dreams?"

    I actually find that UPLIFTING!

Got me past a very ruff time in my life.

    God bless him.

  • Powerfulllllllllll

  • Outstanding, This song lifts me up to a place I would love to stay forever...

  • Fave song off my fave album.

  • I can't begin to count the number of times I've played this song and this album over the years in my car driving in the mountains of California and now the Pacific Northwest. Whenever I listen to it, I feel like I am soaring through the air like a bird.

I think this beautiful song is about freedom and how Dan made a choice to follow his dream and passion for music instead of finishing college.

    "Now, I'm learning to fly

    And this freedom is like

    Nothing that I've ever known..."

    RIP Dan...

  • @vintagegarden This song is about a higher quest ...a spiritual journey..one of the soul...listen carefully to the lyrics...he had reached a higher state of awareness...its not really about ordianary choices..its about a choice to follow the inner spirit...whether you see this as a strictly religious choice or an individual personal inner journey.of the soul.

  • perfect

  • Wow, logged on to listent to one of my, and my sisters favorite musician artists of all time to find out he had passed away. almost 2 years ago. Truely one of the greatest and gifted musicians of all time. He could and did do it all. Hauntingly beautiful music, amazing compositions, meaningful melodies and the variety is just amazing. We will truly miss you Dan. I hope you are with God now.

  • This was my "second" introduction to Dan. Had just heard Souvenirs album. Then bought Nether Lands - and this sealed it for me. Have been a Dan fan ever since and nothing will ever change that. Nether Lands will always wrap its arms round me........

  • well said my friend.

  • Netherlands easily his best album.... He could play anything, the liner notes show how many of the instruments on this album he handled himself... this album was an exercise in creative genius ... complex and beautiful.

  • Gosh, his first five albums were just amazing. Such a beautiful song writer...

  • I was 13 when I first heard this song, I am now 47 and it still sings to my heart. I will always love his music and will never stop listening to it

  • we miss you and your talent....you will never be forgotten. Thanks for allowing us to listen in!!

  • This is the embodiment of a dream I had. I always hoped someone in rock or pop music would make a genuine masterpiece with full orchestra. This is it for me.

  • Such a beautiful song. I remember the first time I heard it; sent chills down my spin. Still does today.

"and where do you go when you get to the end of your dreams?

    Make new ones!

What a profound impact Dan Fogelberg had on my life. I will miss his talent. I will miss the heart and soul he put into every song he wrote and performed.

    May God rest his soul!

  • I love this song for it's existential words. But I remember it most for when I was with the love I loved at the time. We would play this endlessly while making love.

I have not seen her in over 30 years but think of her when I hear this song.

  • Me too Barndude

  • Absolutely Beatiful. Again, Dan created, (IMHO), Sheer Perfection....

  • ahhh it just doesnt get much better does it?

  • Gilthorn,

I still have it on vinyl in excellant shape !

  • Thank you Dan, one of the top 5 songs i have ever heard...you are a treasure for all of us.While we will miss you, we will also celebrate what you have given us.

  • His greatest song and I love it and have been listening to it many years now. Used to have the album on vinyl long ago now.

  • lupet!

  • Way Cool!!!!

  • my newphew left for hawaii today. hes going to the u of h and studing marine biology. this song makes me think of the road he chose and how happy he will be with it.

  • When I first heard this song I was moving to The Big Easy , 1983, and as I was driving away from my parents house on I-57 in Illinois this song came on the local radio station and I cried. What a beautiful song and inspiring. Just another 'Illinois" boy who misses this man.

  • Thinking and missing Dan on this day. Looked at my framed copy of his birthday announcement this a.m. and could only smile and give thanks for the legacy of music he left us.

  • can you believe Captured Angel is still on store shelves after 25 years

  • 25 years ago a girl I was dating asked me which road I would take. It only took a moment to reply. "Seems to me that simple acceptance of life would give you sweet peace, and that sweet peace would provide simple acceptance of life, so it would not matter." Last week my wife and I spoke about this very subject and added that the issue is deciding...there is something powerful about making a decision that releases you to move into the choice you have made. Maybe this resonates with you.

  • One of the best songs to dream on when your young. Thank you for posting, its been 20 years since I heard this.

  • I dreamed a lot on it when I was young.

  • Played this song at my father's funeral by his request.

  • I saw DF's tour with this album at the FOX Theater in Atlanta, GA Nov. '77. He was a terrific performer... To me this song has always been about the "forks" in the road we all come to. For Fogelberg, it might have been a relationship, or the choice between staying in a business that has it's benefits, but also forfeits one's anonymity. Suicide? I think the only way a person could come up with that is if they are actually suicidal. Get help now!

  • It might be all about our own context. This was the first DF song I ever heard back in 1978- the year after Netherlands came out. I wore that record out! At the time- the '70's- we thought he was choosing between living life or escaping into drugs! Yeah, that probably never occured to him, I know. Even later I never thought it was about suicide but about choosing to live life or check out and sell out. He never did and I for one was always very grateful. Thanks Dan!

  • That photo in the beginning has got to be one of the best photos I have ever seen of him. Middle-aged, peaceful..lovely. Thanks for a wonderful vid. I have always just loved this song.

  • His VISION became his release...

  • I don't think this song is about suicide at all!! DF was all about living and the incredible choices we have in life. Of course, you could interpret that suicide is a choice, however I would say you are looking at the glass as half empty, not half full. Look at yourself first.

  • Not hateful at all! Please remember to not believe everything you read or hear, and then passing it on. This is how untrue rumors and gossip get started. The only thing we can change is ourselves. Peace

  • @nancylw54 Finally! beggarsgame posted a beautiful upload to this awesome song. It's a "Must See". Also, in the "more information" selection, Dan's own words spoke of the meaning of this song. Sigh of relief, as I would NEVER say anything but great things about my favorite musician of all times... Dan was / is / always will be my "Favorite". As for a favorite song? I love them all. Simply beautiful. Through his "Ever On" creations, Dan will ALWAYS

    'LET IT SHINE!"

  • I love this whole CD/Album...titled the Netherlands. Anyone who doesn't have it....get it! Thanks for posting this song! :D

  • I live this song...

  • I just wondered if anyone else had ever read this, or knows if indeed Netherlands was a song regarding suicide.

Thank you for posting this. Although Dan is no longer here with us on this earth, as long as we have his beautiful music such as this, he will continue to live with us through his music and oh, so unique Dan voice; always to "Let It Shine!" Beautiful song!

  • Netherlands is most certainly not a song about suicide. It's about a man who acquired heavenly vision. I know you don't know what that means but that's all I can tell you. Dan Fogelberg was an absolute peace on earth.

  • Actually, I do believe that SouthesMySoul is right in a way. I believe that the song is about someone that is going through change, sees the vision, and has to make a choice, a difficult one, to live and accept life as it is, or to choose death and find immediate peace. I do believe that this is the meaning of the song.

  • I can't tell you just how wrong you are about that.

If you are so inclined, listen to his song These Days.... In it he talks about his old self, how he use to be and then rejoices in the new self. "These days are just like you and me.." Trust me, it has absolutely nothing to do with contemplating death at any point. I can't be more emphathic about that. If anything, the death you refer to is the death of his old self.

Dan Fogelberg lived in a perpetual state of bliss.

  • (continued..) Once in a vision I came on some woods And stood at a fork in the road My choices were clear Yet I froze with the fear Of not knowing which way to go One road was simple Acceptance of life The other road offered sweet peace When I made my decision My vision became my release....
  • (continuation..) Oh I've seen the bottom & I've been on top But mostly I've lived in between And where do you go When you get to the end of your dream? Off in the nether lands I heard a sound Like the beating of heavenly wings And deep in my brain I can hear a refrain Of my soul as she rises and sings Anthems to glory and Anthems to love and Hymns filled with early delight Like the songs that the darkness Composes to worship the light.
  • (continuation..) High on this mountain The clouds down below I'm feeling so strong & alive From this rocky perch I'll continue to search For the wind & the snow & the sky Oh I want a lover and I want some friends And I want to live in the sun And I want to do all the things that I never have done. Sunny bright mornings And pale moonlit nights Keep me from feeling alone Now, I'm learning to fly And this freedom is like Nothing that I've ever known (continued..)
  • (continuation..) "the refreshing breeze coming down the side of the Colorado Rocky's, it wasn't until Dan told me that the song was actually about making the choice of living or suicide. Now, go back and listen to it! By Steven Clark Bradley." After readiing this, of course I came to this song, and listened to it. (continued..)

  • I just read this, and don't quite know what to think about it, but wanted to share it. It is an interview with Dan Fogelberg by Steven Clark Bradley, wherein Bradley states: "His songs created a visual landscape as well as a heart & mind connection. Sometimes you "get it" right away and other times it takes awhile to sink in. A perfect example is the title track of his album Netherlands. For all the years I spent listening to that song, feeling in my mind," (continued..)

  • This Song Is So Beautiful, Including The Orchestra!

  • my mom and i were looking at her records and she gave me her dan fogelberg record netherlands....great record..he is amazing.

  • AT LEAST WE STILL HAVE THIS---see you later Dan

  • This is a beautiful song: I Iheard it in the 70s as a teenager and it stayed with me - I searched for it for years...

  • I am still stunned when I hear "Tell me to my face" I have never heard a guitar as mad as his was in that one. I miss his talent, I miss his music, I miss his soul.

  • After all these years, this song still gives me goose bumps. Beautiful

  • Amazing song I have just been listening to a lot. Can't believe he is gone. What a great talent and person.

  • I know, right? You go for years without listening and then you do and it takes you back and you want more. Lots of great outdoor camping in the mountains with this one....

  • To my old roomie Phil. Hope you still out there dude!

  • Like many other fans, Fogelbergs music comforted me in times of struggles; provided direction in personal journeys; gave light to my soul when darkness loomed. I "needed" his music in my 20's; I love it in my 40's. His loss is a great one. Thank goodness for the wisdom he's left in his lyrics and song.

  • Somewhere around 1980, I heard this song on the radio and asked the record saleman for the band named Netherlands. Fortunately, he recognized my ignorance and directed me to to the album rack under the letter "F".

I've been a fan ever since.....Like Sinatra and Darrin, Dan Fogelberg has left a volume of brilliant work that many of us will celebrate and enjoy fo the rest of our lives.

  • Dan was a great person and musician. This is my favorite song by him. We miss him a lot and it makes me cry to think he is gone. One of the best that God has ever given.

    Paul Brown

  • First of your songs I ever heard. It still moves me. At seventeen a coworker gave me her copy of Souvenirs, I've been hooked since then. Lost track of how many times I have seen you. Mann Music Center in Phila PA...Let It Shine, the audience held lighters. Magic. What a wonderfully talented artist you were. Thank you for sharing your beautiful music. Wishing your family the strength to bear your untimely passing. Thank you man. Love.

  • This album came at a very difficult times in my life - it is one of the most beautiful and perspective pieces of music I've ever heard. It became my best friends and comforted me in many dark moments. I am forever grateful for Dan Fogelberg for this gift to me..........I still listen to it time to time with love for Dan and his music......I cried when I had heard he passed - thank you Dan for you legecy to all of us! See you in sometime in the universe!!!

  • "where do you go when you get to the end of your dream?"

    I love this song.

  • One of my favorites. Who hasn't come to the fork in the road?

  • Simply Beautiful. Great memories...

  • Words can't desribe the beauty of this song!! It'll be my death song. :)

  • gosh, I play guitar and write.. this song brings tears to my eyes....and I don't care what you think...

  • omg, Dan F. is amazing. This album was my fav for years...

  • This is my favorite album of all time. It is the most beautiful song I know.

  • Amen to that.

  • Truly the most beautiful song ever written and sung by the most beautiful voice....miss you Dan

  • Absolutely. This is as good a song as any classical composer ever wrote in the history of music.

  • INCREDIBLE SONG....I miss you Dan Fogelberg....RIP

  • I lived in colorado in the 80's; Dan lived there as well. There is a small town in the foothills outside of Boulder, at about 9500 ft. called Nederland, CO. I'll never think of Dan without thinking of that tiny hamlet, the azure blue sky, the majesty of the surrounding mountains. This is, in my opinion, his finest album, the singing, the orchestration, just wonderous.

Dan Fogelberg was a gift to us all.

God bless you, Dan, and thank you.

  • I am a rock fan who, simply put, had a hard time dealing with the deaths of Dan Foelberg and the Outlaws' Hughie Thomasson in one month. Dan will always be the man who taught me how to sing with passion.

Phoenix is my favorite Dan album, and Seeing You Again (from Exiles) a hard-fought favorite song of many, many candidates.

  • I've always been a huge Dan Fogelberg fan. He died Dec 17th,2007, so he almost lived long enough to see 2008. Sigh. Such a loss.

My favourite Dan Fogelberg song is SAME OLD LANG SYNE, reminds me of an old girlfriend I never got over.

To quote the title of an Elton John song, 'SAD SONGS SAY SO MUCH'-!

    Phil Latter

  • I am from the netherlands -so there is a connection - and this morning I heard this song on the radio on the yearly top 2000.I knew the song but did not know the song of the title. Now I am glad that I do.

    Thanks for posting it leuv1963

  • His death bothered me. I was a fan but never a huge fan but he was from Peoria and I from Rockford Ill and he was becoming popular when I was 18.

I also have a Swedish surname. Guys like him are not supposed to die that young.

    Shit!

  • On the first anniversary of Dan Fogelberg's death, all I can say is "thank you for the music" and Rest In Peace!

  • I was extremely blessed to meet this man with the voice of an angel, when he sat in with some other musicians at a bar I worked at in Aspen, in 1985. The world is an emptier place without him. Dan, you are missed.

  • You know I try to listen and watch but can't-I loved him and his music so much that I just get sad to see this bright light gone.

God Bless Dan Fogelberg. Will Scott

  • I am 64. I play this on piano often. What a talent.

  • Me too! This and Paris Nocturne, and even To the Morning are some of the best to play on piano. Beautiful music, I miss his style and can listen for hours to his top choice discography.

  • me heart is busted

  • Great memories.Valdosta State College circa 1976.

  • he was a brilliant singer, musician, lyricist, producer, etc.... I could go on

  • I played this song looking at Crater Lake in Oregon, it echoed all over. What a thrill it was to hear it, and see the Lake..

I hope Dan is looking down on us, and knows how much he is missed....

  • A beautiful song by an amazing talent. You are missed Dan.

  • I remember playing this for the first time (on vinyl, too!) and Dan's voice and music filled the huge room I was sitting in. The whole album had the capacity to wrap its arms around me and carry me to a whole new world. This musical masterpiece did it for me. I still regard Nether Lands, the titletrack, as his best composition. All this happened back in the '70's at the tender age of 16. Little did I know Dan's music would carry me on a fantastic journey....

  • Beautiful song by a very talented man. You are missed Dan. Thanks for sharing this song and video.

  • I'm 29, and I was lucky enough to grow up listening to him, and his music will always stay with me. I also got to see Dan Folgelburg in concert about 10 years ago. Yeah I'm weird I like all my mom's music, but not much of the music of today...

  • what a wonderful way to honor your Mother. i believe i have done the same with my four children. we all love and experience the same taste in music and attend concerts often, which doesn't contain much of the music today.. We have done about 4 Coldplay concerts, but mostly the older softer side of music.

so much to be learned from the days gone past.

  • One of Dan's greats. I had this piece playing a moment ago while flipping through pictures from the recent MTV awards. I don't know 80% of them, nor do I want to. I am dumbstruck by the incredible contrast.

  • This song has so much meaning to me........a reminder of one of my only true loves that drifted by.

Thank you Dan for your timeless music and beautiful heart to creat such magic. I hope you are singing with Gods angels right now.

  • Oh how i miss this man that helped me cope with some of the things of my life with his brilliant music. I always wished that i could have told him so in person. To have spent just a day with him would have been a blessing to me. No other artist got as close to my soul as he did. I hope his wife will read all these comments and smile knowing that Dan is still very much alive through people like us. Ya know, he really didn't leave us, he just moved upstairs!!!!!

  • We - the "young ones" - are blessed to know a and to admire Dan Fogelberg. He is the singer/songwriter no other musician today can't compete with....RIP

    Greetings from Germany

  • Dear Dan,

Today, Aug. 13, 2008 you would have been 57 yrs old. You have been large part of my life and I am forever gratful to you, for your beautiful voice, lyrics and music.

You are now singing with the Angels. RIP

I will be at the Sellersville Theater 1894, PA for the Fogelberg,Dan, Tribute. Some of the proceeds will go towards your cause that took you way too young.I know you will be there in spirit singing along with some of your former band members. This is also a way to celebrate YOU!

  • Magnificent. Quite possibly his finest hour.
