@Beef1188 if it is estimated at 2 mill to produce, it could be very temporary if free market capitalism got a crack and mass producing the components..good luck with that
Making hydrogen by splitting water is energy-intensive and the economies of scale make it much cheaper and more efficient to produce and distribute it at refueling points rather than on demand.
This is a different technology, you need atomic, compressed hydrogen, costly and dangerous to produce at home. They want to keep us dependent on the pump, I agree with that. That's why they bash battery powered cars, it's easy to gather solar power at home.
2 mil to produce?
that's bullshit
if that costs 2m then they might as well add 1m more to get the same amount of luxuries of a Rolls Royce.
And if it was 2m, why would they let people lease it for $600? what if it crashed?
I believe that costs as much as a honda accord since is has the same power and luxuries

I don't believe not even the slightest that the clarity would cost 2 milion to produce, this is petroleum propaganda!
I built a 2000W hydrogen fuel cell heater at home for only 200€. It consumes 1\3 of the power a regular electric heater would.
The link between the two? Its not that expensive, not even close!

@tgamirov And because charging a car takes a while. Would you rather be limited to X-Amount of miles a day, or be able to fill up anywhere.
