  • Does brylcreem stain pillows and furniture? And can you sleep with it in your hair or do you have to wash it before bed? And how hard is it to get out?

  • this product looks really good.im going to buy it from amazon.. maybe ill wait like 3 weeks to get it because of the shipping to my country.. but i let you know how im liking it or heating it hahah take care and MORE videos please

  • great video

  • thats how men need to have their hair..what happened to society?

  • for some reason whenever I do my hair, I cant put a parting on my left side, its physically impossible, which is a shame because nearly everyone I see with my hairstyle has their parting on their left side!

  • @stuart556 Yo, it doesn't matter. Look at Pete Campbell from Mad Men, he parts his hair on the right. What about Cary Grant? Parted on the right. It's still parted and you look a hell of a lot better than the kid with the messed up hair sitting next to you!

    Cheers

  • For me, Brylcreem holds better with a 100% boar brush, rather than a comb. It seems to absorb better.

  • Brylcreem is awesome. Nice video, but looks like you need to use more brylcreem. Do a new video using a mirror. Side parts rock! Lets see how you have the back. Do you taper it? Would be good to see a side view too. I found if you apply a line of bryl on the teeth of the comb, that helps distribute it especially along the part. Nice and slick.

  • You might want to try pomades from Highlife dot com. They have various oil and water based pomades. There are really good ones: ATP (Addicted to Pomade) and Cock Grease if you want a pomp, but if you prefer the classic businessman cut like you show, try first wetting hair with vitalis and then apply brylcreem. Or use brylcreem in combo with a pomade.

  • You have a great hair. Next time, try to triple or even quadruple the amount of Brylcreem and give yourself a shinier and glossier look. I love your slicked side-parted hair look. Keep on it!

  • @hkmusc Hey, thanks for the comment! I've already tried a lot of Brylcreem, and if my hair doesn't want to work with even a little Brylcreem, I don't waste a lot of it trying to get it to work. My hair is naturally very dark, but since I had my hair dyed, it doesn't show up as being shiny since it's so light, plus it's also curly, so I just wear a cap if it doesn't want to work, or I just butter it up with Murrays.

  • @fivestander Slicked hair style works best for dark or black hair, so if you think that this kind of hairstyle is your way to go, I would highly recommended that you make your slicking with your natural dark-brown hair.

I admit that Brylcreem lacks holding power (no matter how much you have put on your hair), so you may wish to combine Murrays (for hold) and Brylcreem (for shine).

  • Aw! Thanks for the shout out man! :) I gotta say that was pretty amazing, I was like you though all worried about how long it took and very picky about my hair, but since im your 'mirror' since you didnt have one, it looked great! Maybe you should add just a little more in to really get it working and move more the way you want it? Also dont worry about the length of the video the longer it is the more entertaining it is haha. :) Anyways thanks for the vid! Keep rockin man! :)
