War is an extension of politics and no president requires the fbi or cia to "certify" an enemy before a president can act. Chris Wallace is a snide, poor excuse for a reporter and FOX news reflects its reporters. I do agree that FOX news wasn't vigorous towards Bush's mistakes, and the facts support what Clinton says about his doing a reasonable job of trying to get Bin Laden-it was the FBI who screwed that puppy. But Clinton is way to egotistical about his presidency and he cost Hillary big time. If you look it this interview w/o partisan bias you can see a slight "hatchet job" and big over reaction.

He is not overreacting at all. This interview didn't take place in a vacuum. Right-wing media always has the same line, which is to discredit anyone not in line with their ideals. Clinton knew when he came to this interview what was going to happen, that Chris Wallace was going to try and nail him to the wall. IE: Obama inviting the press into the press room only to tell them he wasn't there to answer questions. He is trying to educate the press that he will not be grilled. That will cause them to dig deeper and eventually have a stockpile of evidence and possibly multiple areas of criminality. no, i'm 32. i use my cousins myspace page. i served under clinton in the airforce from 94-98. he said he did not take him out then. because the fbi and the cia did not sign off on his doing so. because they did not have enough proof that bin laden was respnsible for any thing. you have to realize that not a whole lot was known about him then. i went to saudi arabia twice and doha, qatar once. in 95, the first time i went. we were free to go down town dharan. the terror level was very low then.

did you know that al qaeda is not the only terror organization? reagan dealt with hezbollah in lebenon. he didnt have to deal with terrorism that much but he did have to make a few moves. the first bush. didnt do much in the way of terrorism. he defended kuwait. but, that wasnt terrorism. bill clinton, was the first president to start dealing with al qaeda. like i said, when i was in saudi in 95. the terror threat was almost non existent. we were free to roam freely downtown dharan.

osama is not al qaeda. he helped start al qaeda. yes osama was known about back in the 80's. the u.s was suppling afghan. with weapons and training to fight off the soviet union. so, i'm sure bin laden was heard of. but, al qaeda wasnt formed until 1988. and was not known about to the u.s. until the mid 90's.
