@pixiwoo Hi Sam, I love this, but I really think you have nothing to be jaded about with the Erickson Beamon bit. The 2 looks are totally totally different. Other than the lashes, (which many artists use), I'm not sure how you could think they were ripping your look? You didn't do blush splotches up on your forehead, you didnt do that jagged feathery look above the brows, you didnt use glitter, your blush placement is COMPLETELY different than theirs...

@MakeupArtistLauren Hi Lauren, it is highly unlikely that the exact same colours and placement teamed with the lashes would be used. It would be a massive fluke. The fact that they added some glitter and feathered the blue slightly is fooling no one. Especially the 30 or so subscribers that sent me emails commented on the Temptalia post and tweeted about it.

i really love the creative looks you do, i don't think you should be apologetic about them. Most gurus do standard celebrity looks but it's this sort of stuff which is far more interesting and makes you stand out from the rest. I study fine art and i find theatrical and experimental makeup really interesting and inspiring. i referenced alex box in my work last year- really useful when looking at transformation and unusual ways to use makeup. using the face as a canvas! love it x
