hi thanks for your comments.. hoping to have a cd available some time in the new year.. in the meantime you could burn the MP3s to a cd.. that works ok
I'll keep you posted though and glad you like the music!!
Very nice Joe, I'm digging your lyrics and your style, maybe that's because I believe we have similar taste in music. I really enjoyed this very much, very poetic. I'm posting one of my songs above to share with you. Mark
Wow... I agreee with everyone aleady posetd here. This is just as beautiful as your talented renditions of others' work... We are all one, afterall. Well done, Joe, and congratulations on your 200th song. You have much to be proud of here.
Thanks for being a great inspiriation. A beautiful story and a very beautiful song.Congratulations on your 200th! It looks like there's a lot more to come
WOW Joe! Just lovely! I'm going to have to shake off the dust and re-read that novel. My goodness - if all this came from reading a book there's no limit to what's inside!
Joe, your YouTube public has been waiting and waiting and at long last you deliver. I can hardly believe my ears! Even better than I imagined it would be, though just what I expected. Brilliant! Looking forward to the next (and the next!) Peace
i would love to get a physical cd copy of your album and not just download it is there anyway that's possible?

well, you've inspired me to read Edith Wharton - no small feat.
I love this song! Such a simple progression and such a soothing melody. I have to learn how to do this better.

Ohh man, could I pleaaaaaase know the chords to this?
SaileAway 3 years ago
hey, it's pretty simple - three chords
G 320033
Cadd7? 032033
D 000232
I think I had my guitar tune downed a half step too - top E becomes Eb etc. but you can play it in standard tuning
hopefully you can work out where the chords go to the lyrics!?
I use lots of hammer ons and walk ups and downs with the first finger mainly, which gives a lot of variation to the basic chord patterns
all the best

This is good stuff Joe. I agree with the other guys - you'd be a good act live, if you're not already doing so?

Just terrific. Keep writing. If you ever hit a pub in Halifax I'll pay to hear and buy the beer.
I see you've got a banjo. Check out Old Man Leudecke (I Quit My Job). A little encouragement for all of us, plinkers to pros.
