LOVE this movie...it got a bad wrap, but those of us who know good cinema when we see it, know better and agree this is one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. I wore out two cassettes as a teen because I listened to it so much.

The acting during this scene is phenomenal! The way she finally notices he's there and immediately starts singing to him and then "...when did I let you down, or did I leave you stranded..." The look on his face is amazing.

I've always loved this part of the movie. Cynthia Rhodes voice is soulful and smoky. I also love how she tells Tony that he can't treat her this way anymore. When she says "Tony don't you know how much I love you?" it just breaks my heart. This song was a good choice for the movie and casting Cynthia Rhodes was an even better choice. One woman in Staying Alive, Dirty Dancing and Flashdance.
