@hunter101sgames yes what is that i have problem like left side from down in white smartimage on and right side down smartimage off ! what the hell is that
@Pinhead222 Yeah it's fine. The makers of these TVs know that a vast majority of their customers get these HDTVs for the sole purpose of gaming. They build them to handle.
do you still recommended this HDTV?? because I'm planning to buy a 22 inch HDTV but after a couples of weeks past by I still can't figure out what brand should I get. I saw DYNEX 22 inch HDTV 720p for $279.99 at best buy but then I saw this IGSIGNIA 22 inch HDTV 1080p for the same price ($279.99). I need help!!
OH MY GOD! There is a massive disaster on the tv, and you didn't even react!!!!! Hahahahaha I love Insignia. My girlfriend has a 32" and it is amazing. I am thinking about getting one and using it for my pc monitor, and tv.
OH MY GOD! There is a massive disaster on the tv, and you didn't even react!!!!! Hahahahaha I love Insignia. My girlfriend has a 32" and it is amazing. I am thinking about getting one and using it for my pc monitor, and tv.
I have a 32" LCD Insignia. I don't have much knowledge of these HDTV's. What are the proper settings to get maximum HD picture? I saw one in applebee's tonight and the picture was flawless. Mine looks NOTHING like this. Also, how can you change it from 480p to 720p etc... I'm clueless :(
btw everyone, there's a dynex tv just like this one. (dynex an insignia are both best buy brands). BUT i gotta say believe it or not the dynex (although cheaper) is better for me cause there is now connection lag on it. The insignia has TERRIBLE connection lag, so when u play xbox 360 and hit a button for a heat shot online it sucks ass. u are literally behind some milliseconds. this is on both a/v connections and the component and even cable. its just a lag all over for insignia 22"
ok whatever i shouldent of called you a nerd just cause you know about tvs but ill admit i like my new insignia theres just 1 problem i dont like when im playing ps3 dont put my settings on 16:3 or whatever cause it makes stuff on the screen to small so i leave it on 4:3 cause everything looks better i didnt mess with my tv much at all though i just hooked it up
For the connection lag? no there is no way to fix it unfortunately. For some 360 games u can calibrate the game to end offline connection lag, like on guitar hero 3 (the game i used to actually MEASURE the connection lag on both tvs). So i tried both the insignia 22" and the dynex 22" (bought both, returned the insignia), and i gotta say the dynex is damn near perfect on cable lag, while the insignia is terrible. It sucks for gaming, like sniping shooters or guitar hero. get the dynex period
because as i just said, i bought both tvs before and returned one (the insignia). The cable lag is terrible for all the gamers out there. i tested it unbiasedly, using the calibration system from guitar hero 3 and using my pc. its legit trust me try it out for urself. that's insignia's only problem i could find, but its massive for me
cool review, i got the same tv, but whenever i want 2 watch a Blu- Ray movie on my PS3, it goes in to a weird 4:3 mode instead, if anyone can, can u help me with my problem? but my PS3 games still has that amazing 16:9 widescreen format. yay.
just right click on your desktop and go to properties like you would to change your backgrouns but go to (im not sure what it is in vista) settings and then you will see screen 1 and 2
then press on screen 2 and go to advanced and change it to same as 1 or something like this
on this tv i have the same exact model and everything but my stand is really wabbly was there like things to fix that that i probably threw out message me back thanks
lol, you think that the only reason somebody would get an HDTV is to play video games? I have an HDTV and guess what.... I WATCH TV! , and for your information, you ignorant slob, if you have a good TV if will upconvert the video input from the wii therefore making it HD.
wrong. xbox 360 offers 1080p. it was only 720p when it first came out, but it updated after like 2 months. however, many games on the ps3 and 360 only offer 720p, but in the end ps3 and 360 offer 1080p and the wii offers 480 (and 360 rules btw)
@1213982@1213982 Not all games on the PS3 do FULL HD. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 do around 600-720P HD for most games. This is to keep the frame rate up. Both systems can do HD though, good luck finding full HD games though.
Also I think 16:10 is standard for computer monitors, or is at least, one of the standards. The Macbook Pro for instance is 1440x900. Perhaps the res on the TV is such so that people can put their laptops to the TVs if need be. Also the XBox 360 can run at 16:10, at least on the Dashboard.
I got this tv in 720 and 19 inch and when i turn it on all it gives me is a white screen with audio. No picture. Idk whats wrong with it i want to know if i can fix it before going back to best buy and returning it.
so I also am getting a hdtv with 16:10 ratio. as most formats are 16:9, will i have black bars on the top and bottom? or is it close enough to not notice....
Bought this at Bestbuy today for $280. Only thing I can't figure out is how to get my TV and PS3 sound to go through my stereo that I hooked up through the audio out?
There are two audio outs. One right next to the VGA plug and one that is hidden for your needs. Look at the TV from the front is is on the left side. Not on the back but on the left, opposite all the controls on the right. Let me know if you need more help. I had that issue too...
I feel bad for saying this man but there is no such thing. The highest a tv of that size would go to is 720p, anyway from that size you wouldn't notice a difference anyway
its ok i went to futureshop, asked for details and i got my info. btw i figured out it was a 1080i tv not p. and the tv im getting is a 22" samsung HD 720p tv :). thank for actually replying though.

I run my wii on a 480i In the living room, I don't get to PLAY IT AT ALL, and my bro deleted my xbox360 account I hate him, SO I SEPARATED FROM USING THE XBOX360 or anything outside of my room, and I don't no else using my wii but me, is this a solution, because My tv doesn't have RCA jacks/YRW cable inputs, and my monitor is 3 years old, like my pc, It would be alot less painful to not buy adapters and get a new monitor, so Buying a HDTV like this and some HD cables worth it?
Im looking at getting one of these. Even for the non sale price of 349 isn't bad considering a lot of the 19" TV's are 299.
Im just wondering if the 16:10 ratio has ever started to bug you considering it doesn't use the full screen? Also are there black bars on the top/bottom and sides or just the top and bottom? Have you figured out how to make it a duplicate monitor or is it even possible? Is there anything you havn't been able to drag onto the monitor? That would bother me but it would work
I'm sorry. I have a couple more questions and I might actually buy this today. We'll see. I saw a comment about an insignia getting green specks whenever there was a black background. True or it has happened to you? Also with the 16:10 do things get cut off on just the sides or the top too? I'm really starting to wonder about the quality of this TV.
uh, yeah. get your moneys worth my friend. you can make a 300 dollar HDTV look like a 900 dollar HDTV, and that's coming from a dude that wasn't selling me anything from Zobo Home Theater today on the phone.
